I’m installing an iTunes update on a Win 7 machine. If not that type of extension, what should it be?

MSI for Win7 is fine, but I’m wondering why tethering an iPhone would cause the prompt for an update for iTunes *and* video drivers. I’m too far away to dig further. I’d let the smart folks st Apple know.
