The irony of Burt Gummer is that Michael Gross was (and maybe still is) a huge gun-confiscation proponent.
I know! I guess they picked him for that role because they thought he could be a convincing gun nut.
Then I guess it's a bit ironic that his most memorable role was as a conservative gun nut who ends up being the hero who saved the day. Tremors is a great B flick. I've seen it a bunch of times but if I'm ever channel surfing and run across it I'll still stop and watch it again.
