Former Cruz communications director Rick Tyler says the National Enquirer story that charges Ted Cruz with having multiple extramarital affairs is categorically false. Tyler, an MSNBC contributor, told the network Donald Trump is friends with the CEO of the Enquirer.
"This story has been shopped to the Washington Post and Donald Trump has a relationship with David Pecker, the CEO of National Enquirer and has been on the campaign trail since AIPAC," Tyler said Friday.
"I can tell you with 100% certainty that this story is false," Tyler said on MSNBC. "I have traveled to at least 25 different states with ted cruz, spent an enormous amount of time with him in all different situations and he is a man of integrity and he's a man of decency and i can't imagine there's even one shred of that story that holds any weight or is true whatsoever."

What was obvious was the attempt to destroy the reputation of the Trump spokesperson Katrina when she left the Cruz camp. Intensive research showed she was accused of being unstable, unreliable, a criminal, a stalker of Cruz and the charges went on and on. Then people who knew her started standing up for her. Shortly she was hired by Trump as spokesperson.
I do not believe she had an affair with Cruz, but I do believe because the attack was so similar to women who have said no to a boss or filed a sexual harassment charge that some type of non appropriate behavior was present Those behaviors have a definite pattern.

I think that the timing of this story coming out was chosen to let it cool over the Easter weekend. People also less comfortable attacking people at Easter. In my mind that goes along with it being a story that could no longer be contained and all that could be done to mitigate was to create a mini scandal by baiting Trump for a counter story and picking the best time to let out the cat. That is c/w the GOPe/media wanting Cruz to retain his usefulness in dividing the delegates.
The MSM would much rather have a feckless Jeb! as the nominee because that would assure President Hitlery.

Remember. If these stories are false solely because Trump has a friend at the National Enquirer, then everything any of the tv news in the USA says is also false. There isn’t one news dept which doesn’t have close familial ties with the Obama administration or worse.
Suck it up butter cup. Trump openly brags of his many conquests without naming names. And when he is president those names will come out unless The Donald, champion level blowhard is willing to play ball. Of course there is a strong likelihood the blowhard will use all the federal agencies to do his bidding and take out his adversaries. You know, just like obama.
While at grocery I perused a copy of NE while waiting in line. It is set up like one might write a proposal for a research paper: Open ended questions. possible solutions etc. probably a dozen different stories teased within the one article.
NE is going to become very wealty. Enough to pay $1,000,000 + for anyone who wants to come forward. They state on the front page that Cruz is coming down (and they will not cease until he does.) It all depends on how much of his “private” life C wants Pos-TED!
This needs a blood pressure alert. I thought only Obama lied so fluidly right to people’s faces. Ted Cruz is completely unprincipled. It doesn’t matter how badly he wants to be POTUS, his integrity needs to come first. He is truly the Macbeth of this election; his ambition has destroyed him.
