As everything unfolds before us, in which direction only God knows. We must remember who the True enemies are -- Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
This NE story, where ever it leads, is straight from the evil one's plan to ruin many souls whether you are a Cruz or a Trump supporter. Let's not give Satan what he wants.
I especially want to pray for Ted Cruz and his family -- one can only imagine the anguish and heartache they are going through know -- whether the story is true or not.
I say this as a solid Trump supporter.
As a Catholic I offer this prayer:
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray;
and do thou, O prince of the Heavenly host,
by the power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

We really need to pray for the real, everyday, hard working American patriot who has been lied to, stolen from, cheated for the last 25-30 years by the very people they were asked to trust...The GOP...
I think the fact that every single person who has tried to drag down Trump with slimy backroom ads and schoolyard insults has been outwitted and outclassed and outlasted is PROOF of GOD’S DIVINE WISDOM.
I agree with your sentiments though, I pray for the vanquished political opponents who Trump has decimated time and time again. May GOD have mercy on them.

Why blame Satan for our own follies?
I pray for Trump and his family everyday.
But IMHO, Ted Cruz, his family and supporters are in most need of our prayers at this time.
That is not to anyway diminish Trump’s need of prayer too.

No one takes joy in seeing a man’s life unravel. That being said and getting political here if the stories are true here then Cruz is really unfit to be President. He needs to take time, work on his marriage and building his trust back with his wife. I am not for electing a Pope but if the level of depravity is this high, he has serious mental issue which means he should not only pullout of the race but resign form the Senate. He’s an addict, and addicts that have not stopped their addiction and gotten the tools to stay away form their addictions make real bad leaders. The snarky, caustic, hypocrites here on FR who stand by this guy, I pray for them, directly to Saint Ignats, which I think is the patron saint of morons.
I don’t feel like praying for Ted Cruz today. If the story isn’t true, maybe. I will say a prayer for his wife and the two most innocent victims of this, his children. But if Cruz was wronged, in the end his family will not be hurt, just angry.
There is a greater likelihood that he did, for low, base urges, hurt these kids deliberately.

Nobody said “don’t pray for Trump”. Pray for all the candidates.
