Trump will need a 3rd party candidate to win the general. A liberal Republican will take vote from GOPe and Democrats.

I know you are angry. Trump nor his supporters let you down.

Ted did.

Cruz/s debate comments about regrowing an unfaithful woman/s hymen are not exactly going to win over women.

In one early Harvard debate, St Ted proposed a method to detect infidelity in which God should “give women a hymen that grows back every time she has intercourse with a different guy, because that will be a ‘visible sign’ of the breach of trust”. (recollection by David Kennedy published in a Harvard debate team reunion booklet in 2001)

Time for the neocons to leave the GOP or become worthless gutter rats who want Marxism as their true faith. Bye, bye fools.

Romney won Utah. Cruz loses Evanglicals to “NY Liberal” Trump. LOL.

Donald Trump has not won a majority of the vote in any state he's won. Ted Cruz has done it twice, in Wyoming and Utah.

But, but, Donald won a MAJORITY of the votes in the Northern Mariana Islands! As go the Northern Mariana Islands, so goes America, that's what I always say.

Trump's enormous unpopularity with the majority of voters is a telling indicator that he simply cannot win a general election.

The gender gap would become the Gender Grand Canyon. Donny would get schlonged.

None of these “consider the facts” posts make any sense to me. The people who don’t support Trump have been singing the same song since he started winning primaries: Look how many people hate Trump!

And yet, he keeps winning. And his “ceiling” has been broken time and time again.

Bottom line is that aside from his home state, where he won with a pretty crappy showing, Ted Cruz seems to do best in oddball closed caucus states where a few hundred thousand or less people participate. My guess is this is because people go to their church and all agree that Trump is a “short-fingered vulgarian” and not Christian enough or whatever, and the peer pressure does its job to get Ted “Creflo Dollar” Cruz the votes.

Utah and Wyoming???

Utah was a typical Cruz win - ballot stuffing caucus in Romneyville.

cheaTed is behind over 2 million votes.

The straws you keep grasping at are getting more distant....

Well, mathematically, that's not surprising. There have been more Republicans in the field than Democrats, as far as I know, so Hilary and Bernie are splitting the vote two ways, whereas our candidates have been splitting it 3 and 4 ways.

I mean, if there are other viable Democratic candidates, I haven't heard much about them.

So Trump can leverage a minority position and win where Cruz cannot?

Ted Cruz has done it twice, in Wyoming and Utah.

These are caucuses, not primaries.

Majority votes in primary states has no correlation to how the public will vote in the general election.

The author is delusional and hungover.

It’s not surprising that the front runner should receive fewer than 50% of the vote in a 3, 4, 5 way race. Whenever a candidate drops out, his vote is split proportionally between those who are left. So I would expect Trump support to grow proportionally higher as other candidates drop out.

A recent Reuters poll showed Trump at over 50%, and that is with three others still in the race.

Still believe Cruz is the best choice, seems unlikely to have any rational debate on it here. But for me, I’m going fishing... life is good.
