I think it is clear that it’s Pacific Time in those tweets, because there’s a second capture in there with him ON TV around 8:53 am, which is tweeted out at 5:53 for whomever captured it.

I think that whomever captured the tweets is on the West Coast and that the tweet time would be converted to their local time.

The Cruz youtube vid has the time as 8:38 Eastern so the “tune in to Fox and Friends” tweet had to be prior to 8:38 Tweeter says that if you hold your mouse over the date the time the tweet was sent will appear, so I am inclined to believe the 5:22 AM was the accurate local time.
