Well, I think it's just great that today the NYT and CNN and the WashCompost and all these other liberal commentators are so solicitous to conservatives! Look how they are unanimously warning us that it would be disastrous to run Trump. But never fear they assure us that we will win if we run Kasich. Or Cruz! But not Trump of course. Oh no. We would lose! They want us to win!

In psychology they call that cognitive disconnect. This means having two conflicting opinions at the same time.

Factually, I don’t know a single liberal who isn’t dripping with cognitive disconnect. They will tell you that a woman can have an abortion because no one can tell her what to do with her body and then turn right around and try to force pregnant women to stop drinking and smoking.
It’s been a rather vile day, but in political terms I think the net effect will be a positive for Cruz and a negative for Trump. You can really see and hear the radio talkers and others beginning to see Trump for the slimey bully that he is and turn against him. I was shocked to hear Levin say he might not even be able to vote for Trump if he is the nominee. Yes, I know Levin is a Cruz supporter, but I’d never heard him take it that far.
I think this makes it much more likely Cruz wins Wisconsin, and might make it almost impossible for Trump to get the delegates he needs. And as Trump has alienated pretty much everyone other than his hard core supporters, if he doesn’t have the requisite delegates then he isn’t gonna get the nomination.
