That is what is troubling. We have the "true believers" and we have the ops. The ops have taken over a great deal of the forum. That is why it is hard to find non-political news. There is the post, respond, bump, counter respond and repost of the same material. This is no accident. It is how the ops take over an online forum.

The "true believers" will never change. Their entire being is invested in the premise of "consistent conservative" as defined by the Cruz narrative. To challenge that narrative is to challenge them and their entire belief system.

They become the useful simpletons to be played by the ops here. Just watch how the manipulation is done.

The scary possibility is some of the posters are internet wide "bots." These are actually programs that post and never comment.
