While I believe Griffin is a stand up guy, and I’d like to see him succeed, his career has been profoundly predictable:

Early success, followed by a string if injuries contributed to by his excessive reliance on running. You simply can’t do that in the NFL unless you’re a freak of nature. Griffin is a superb athlete, but he’s not at the level where he can escape hits 98% of the time.

Being on the Browns pretty much seals his fate.

I question how “stand up” Griffin is. Few of his teammates were clamoring for his return. He also got caught sexting a Hooters waitress in Richmond VA the night before his wedding. The media quickly buried that story.

RG runs stupid as opposed to someone like R. Wilson. Wilson runs to extend plays and always continues to look for the pass. When he does run, he protects himself by not squeezing out the extra yard for a hit. RG would decide to run without seeing progressions and get seriously hit.

Not sure his fellow skins cared for him either.
