“Our votes are considered more of a suggestion than an imperative.”

The movers and shakers in the Republican party had better come down off their cloud and seriously contemplate the ramifications of what they’re now contemplating.

If they dare to ignore the clearly expressed will of the people in this election, they’re going to cause a voter rebellion that will destroy the party, and quite possibly the union itself.

I think both parties have dared to ignore the clearly expressed will of the people in this election many times before, it's just that they weren't so blatant about it.
