Trump supporters can (and I'm sure they will) attack the messenger, but they can't refute the point. No amount of logic, no pointing out of obvious truths, no reminding of past positions, will sway them from their support of Trump.

I can't imagine why this sort of arrogance and condescension – which is a universal and unearned Cruz-backer trait – isn't persuasive.
