Which is a bigger threat to America? Terrorists or political correctness? Seems like an easy answer. PC is just an idea, whereas terrorists shoot people and blow things up. But which is easier to stop or contain?
I contend that if the PC movement went away, America would have a much easier time fighting terrorism. Meaning that political correctness will be our undoing, despite the best efforts of intelligence, law enforcement, and the military.

Political Correctness is psychological terrorism, and it has paid off big dividends for the extreme left. Essentially, they can shut down any conversation at any time by just calling a person “racist” (that’s by far their most effective weapon), they can get people fired from their jobs, get their homes vandalized, and even get people physically assaulted and even killed.
Can’t argue with your assessment.
I have been stunned at how political correctness trumps even self preservation in many cases. And self preservation is woven into our DNA too.

I totally agree. This is what too many in the GOP still don’t get. As long as we allow the left and the power class to define the rhetorical limits to be only what they like which is what political correctness essentially is there is no winning for America or conservatism. Its why Trump is the answer. He can bring down the double standards and the kill the politically correct paradigm like no other. Cruz is out there trying to use political correctness against Trump. It shows that he(Cruz) is not the man for the job of President.
One could easily make the case that PC is the CAUSE of things like ISIS.

Yes listening to our political class today the same thought occurred to me. Their politically correct dogmas are so deeply brainwashed into them nothing will ever pry open their welded shut minds.
It’s not political correctness that will cause the demise of Western Civilization, but it will be our moral softness and inability to bring ourselves to the level of savagery necessary to kill every man, woman, and child of the enemy that threatens our survival.
When, and if, a people become too civilized to do what’s necessary to survive in an uncivilized world, they won’t survive, they no longer deserve to survive, and good riddance.

And as long as we force our soldiers to fight in a politically correct fashion - taking lawyers on patrol to tell us who can be shot, and who can't, consulting high level "advisers" a la Valerie Jarrett, to ensure that bombing a terrorist stronghold doesn't contradict political claims that the war is won, we will never win.
Cruz is also cowed by political correctness. Otherwise, he would have been out front in calling for building a border fence and deporting illegal aliens. He didn't because he feared the "racist" charge. A leader cannot let his enemies define him.
They tried to hang the racist label on Trump for his boldness in calling for building the wall. He defeated them by basically saying "screw you!". And he survived.
Reminds me of another leader who defeated the pc crowd by telling Gorbachev to TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!
No doubt. The Cold War deterrence doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) doesn't work with cult fanatics who seek martyrdom.
It isn’t just in fighting terrorism and wars that are affected by political correctness. The majority of American are opposed to gay marriage but look what happens when a baker doesn’t yield to the pc gods. They lose their business and there is no one willing to stand up and say THIS IS WRONG AND WE WON”T STAND FOR IT! Christians and Christianity will be the first and most severely affected by political correctness if nothing is done to defeat it. Again, Trump has proven we can defeat it but we need to stay together.
I am in Europe this evening about two hours away from Brussels. The overeaching theme is “Solidarity” accompanied with “Love”. Sadly to say...it will only allow this crap to keep progressing.
Until the citizens call terrorism by its rightful name, the evil of Islam, they are doomed to replay today over and over again. This is ridiculous. We are witnessing the world dying right before our eyes. The apologists are winning.
