Self-interested, self-indulgent personal plea for relevancy coupled with a Trump is a maniac message. What you fail to realize is that he embodies all the pent-up frustration and anger regular drive-by America has with DC and its pampered uncaring elite. Your personal story and travails aren’t of any importance to me, frankly. Neither are your warnings about Trump. Go back to Fox or whatever you’re doing now for money.

I’m a Cruz supporter.
My thoughts on trump have gone through many revisions. At first I thought he was a breath of fresh air. Lively if a little nutty he was saying things in a way that no one else would dare. It was good to hear.
Then the bullying and name calling started and my opinion changed. I didn’t like the fact that he was tearing people down on ‘our’ side to get ahead. Instead of making his own points clear he simply called the others names. I understood it to be an ‘offence is the best defense’ strategy but I thought it unhealthy.
Then his fans starting using the same tactics and I knew I was right that it was unhealthy and I tried to figure out exactly what he was saying to gather such support. What I found was that he often says nothing at all but says it in a very positive way. It is an amazing spectacle to watch people nod in agreement to a completely broken sentence with no meaning.
That’s when I figured out a couple of things:
Trump doesn’t filter much at all
Trump fans import meaning into what he says when he says nothing.
Trump learned a whole lot from Vince McMahon and the WWE
Trump runs on instinct not study. What he knows he knows very well - what he doesn’t know he bluffs and guesses.
Trump has learned how to make people feel good and how to make people angry. Excellent traits for business dealings where most parties will sacrifice a little pride to make money. Not great in politics where one bad optic can ruin someone’s career. His opponents will have real enmity as a reputation is far harder to fix than a slightly lower margin.

I don’t think he’s evil. I admire some of his talents. I just can’t stand what he’s done to several good men on the campaign. I do not think he understands that his actions and his type of rhetoric have consequences beyond the current ‘Deal’. I do not think politics is his element. In order for him beat Hillary he will need to patch roads deeply pock marked and scarred by his campaign and his followers. That isn’t something you can do by being 100% on offence. I do not think he can teach America what America should be because he doesn’t know.

We have an opportunity with Cruz to move the country closer to the right direction. I fear that many are looking at winning the game - even if it costs us the tournament.

Agreed Gaffer. I’m amazed how the media has such talented writers who can create anything they want out of absolutely nothing.

Maybe they should focus on the cabal of lefties who are promising to riot, no matter what the election brings, that might serve people a bit better, so they can be somewhat prepared. But alas, the media is our enemy and some very sick people are going to regret their part in this disaster.
