Good points.....the GOPeers are using Cruz as a battering ram to stop Trump.
Cruz allowing this indicates he/ll do anything to get his sorry carcass into the Oval Office.
He/ll come out of this a damaged individual w/ no future in politics.
Trump and his father were national fundraisers for Reagan.
But he both had to get along in 5-1 Democrat Manhattan where he lived and did a lot of his building, and he was rightly put off by the Bush’s international adventurism.
IMO like Reagan he would toughen up our stance abroad while also pulling back from wasting so many American military lives and limbs.

My point is that we should unify before the convention. The stronger we are, the better. And people who oppose our unity are spoilers.
You may be right. It might be more than mere rationalization by Cruz.
To me, the point is very simple. Cruz is a spoiler. He’s opposed to unity against the anti-patriots.
Whether he realizes it or not? The sooner his supporters do the better.

Trump has been given 2 billion dollars worth of free PR. Most if not all friendly PR because that’s what people want. But after the nomination you can bet your bottom dollar that same press that was friendly will turn on him like crazy.
Cant Trump beat HRC? No. A lot of Cruz supporters and other Real Conservatives might sit at home next election than vote for Trump. Plus I think there was a sizable amount of people who voted for Trump that were democrats and will switch back in the General election. Trump is just a sideshow freak that 20 years ago would be on par with Pat Paulson.
