Three year old data breach? These hackers just keep getting younger all the time.
Since they are required to report in a TIMELY MANNER in California, I assume that certain executives will be ARRESTED for violating the law.
I have an AMEX card. It was issued to me by my employer. If anyone tries to use the account, I would immediately get an e-mail from corporate, demanding that I fill out an expense report.
Irritating, but effective.

Happened to me last year - on a flight, stayed over at an airport motel. Next day Amex sent me an email saying they’d declined a charge. It was for R5000 from India; a specialty grocery store. Seems the guy who ran my Amex card is Indian and out of the three motels on my trip he was the only one who could have done it. R5000 is equiv. to $75.
Timely information. Just received an email supposedly from AMEX requesting that we verify some personal information because of a security breach. Particularly strange because we cancelled all of our credit cards four years ago including ones we had from AMEX which were in the business name.
Always suspicious, was checking source of message when up popped a warning through AVG. Responded to that and deleted the message.
Timing of all of this was eerie.
If the breach was 3 years ago, the expiration dates should have passed by now.
That may be why I’ve received a.few emails lately saying it was amEx. Closed the account over 2 years ago. I figured it was phishing and deleted them.
