Central Park School for Children in Durham, North Carolina has enrolled grade-school students in a Black Lives March and Rally scheduled for March 17, 2016. The teachers can opt-in or opt-out their classes, but parents have not been given a choice.
Stef Bernal-Martinez, a teacher of 6-year-old children, signed up all the children in her class for a Black Lives March and Rally to take place during the school day, at the citys downtown Central Park and Farmers Market. Ms. Bernal-Martinez describes herself as a Radical Queer Progressive Educator and white-passing Xicana.
The event, like the Black Lives Matter movement itself, is less a spontaneous protest movement than a divide-and-conquer campaign by elite leftists.

this is how people get punched in the face!
The teacher who enrollsed her students in this is a self-described “Radical Queer Progressive Educator.
Metmom, this has to be another reason to homeschool.
Well, I think you have to apply to attend a Charter School. So the parents have made a decision that this is where they want their kids to be educated.
Tax dollar$ at work...
Yes, a charter school is taxpayer funded, but the parents choose to send the children there.
Which one is which?

“Durham is going down the drain for sure.”
It’s been long gone down.
The gene pool definitely needs to be pumped out.
and peaple wonder why are kids are failing at school....
Parents MUST pull their kids out of this BS.
So is the ugly.
Not all charter schools are private. Many are funded by the states they are in.
“-——but the parents choose to send the children there.”
I know that but I still wouldn’t consider it a private school.
.
she needs to find some Neutrogena fast....
It’s not a private school. However, it’s “voluntary” in a way that a standard public school is not. For all I know, the place advertises, “Our faculty are moonbats and will take your children to political events,” and this is what the parents have chosen.
Might be cute except for the overwhelming freak factor.
The Central Park School for Children is committed to nurturing and guiding the natural eagerness of each child to explore, grow, and relate to others. The school is founded on three principles: that children are naturally full of life, power and confidence; that the best available research should guide our methods; and that children develop best in a community where curiosity, challenges and learning are valued. The school is a community of partners who seek to guide, cherish and be amazed by the children.
