I've had no problem with Windows 10 actually installing on my Windows 7 machine; but that's because every Patch Tuesday I go through the "important" updates with a fine-tooth comb and "hide" the ones with the Windows 10 adware. Of course, they only stay hidden for a month and then they have to be re-hidden again, and again, and again.

Yet Microsoft appears to be devising ever more obscure methods to force users to “upgrade” to Win10 whether they wish to or not for some reason.
