Even their album covers are legendary classics.

I think it’s Janice Joplin’s “Cheap Thrills”, if not John Mayall’s “Turning Point”, or maybe Tom Waits’ “Nighthawks at the Diner”. Those are the best live albums I know.

Their “Clockwork Angels” album and tour was great I thought. A bit different, but RUSH usually is.

Remember on “Like a Rolling Stone,” Hendrix says in the middle, “Yes I know I missed a verse, don’t worry.”

And he sang “you got no cigarettes to conceal” instead of “you got no secrets to conceal.”

Otis was dynamite.

According to my play history, the answer is Supertramp Paris.

Which kind of surprised me, having such a massive collection of live albums.

Hendrix Band of Gypsies

Especially “Machine Gun,” played at midnight on Jan. 31, 1969 ...at the Fillmore West. Probably the most incredible guitar moment of Jimi’s career. ...or anyone’s.

Thought Band of Gypsies was recorded at the Fillmore East?

I wonder if “The Last Waltz” by The Band would be considered in this category??
