Bloodhounds can follow scents. the reason a bicycle is hard is because the microbe trail blows away.
They (dogs) see in a domain in which we are 99% blind.

How do you know that the DNA of all new born babies isn't being extracted and entered into a govt. database????? I wouldn't find that hard to believe at all...

Gilbert is trying to improve his database by recruiting more people in Chicago and Florida with jobs or lifestyles that leave a particularly strong mark on the microbiome, such as bakers, farmers, vegetarians, and vegans. Vegans? Now, that's weird.
