Adoption would be easier if there were kids to adopt. Kinda hard when they are all being aborted.
There are plenty of very young children; but what there’s a big shortage of is newborn Caucasian babies available in the near vicinity (ie; in North America). Those are the gold standard of adoptions and you would not *believe* how fast they go. I speak from experience as my fiance and I looked into this already due to some special circumstances. (to nonwhite conservatives, I’m genuinely sorry if this ruffles some feathers, but I didn’t make the world, I just live in it)
I’ve been repeatedly told by adoption counselors and child advocates that trying to get people to adopt a kid over a year old is like pulling teeth with rusty pliers. The international scene is even worse due to red tape when there are literally skyscrapers’ worth of babies - especially girl babies in and around China - who are desperately in need of being rescued to a family far away from their birth nation.
