Am I losing my mind? Donald Trump gives me the creeps at times. He offends my Christianity. His persona turns me off. He can be all other the map in terms of consistent principles. But there is something inside of me that wants him to kick the stuffing out of the powers that be. Even though I am a Cruz man I could see myself voting for the guy. Am I losing my mind?

No, you’re not crazy. Politics is not really all about a checklist of issue positions; to a large extent it’s also about character, attitude, interests, passions. Trump understands this and that’s why he’s winning.
It's going to take a long time to heal the wounds caused by this primary season, and I'm uncertain as to the eventual rapprochement. FReepers that I once thought were reasonable associates, have really unleashed vitriol on these threads.

I can’t say I particularly like or even “trust” Trump. But more than anything I want to see the skulls of the GOP-E crushed to dust, and paint the walls red with their blood. For all their myriad betrayals, both social and fiscal. And perhaps most of all, for their absence in combatting the sick, perverted depravity of faggot-marriage, which has now led to me living in a country I no longer have any respect nor emotional investment in.
It is my choice, if you call it a purity bar, then so be it. My beliefs are not merely there to give lip service in a pew on Sunday. I live and consider them in every choice I make. I am clear on my life’s purpose and it is not to elect another American king.
