John Oliver is obviously very Liberal, but he is very funny as well. . . and he comes down on the right side of this issue. Although he skewers Lindsey Graham in the beginning of the video, he also praises him at the end, when Graham publicly reverses his position.

For all others interested, there are two other companies the DOJ is targeting for end-to-end encryption.
WhatsApp (Silicon Valley company)
wire - Swiss company.

This is NOT about Apple.
It is about control of All Americans by Gov officials.
Why, we really don’t know yet.

One more thing I was thinking about.
DOJ doesn’t seem to be worried about VNC which uses AES256 and a node monitoring system that watches for infiltration.

It might be that NSA already has a hook for it.
Seems unlikely but why worry about phones and not about VNC.
