I’ve been pretty neutral on the Republican primary.

But for Cruz to blame Trump for what happened in Chicago pisses me OFF!

It’s so easy for the BLM crowd to win because they have no opposition and the people who promised to protect us have decided not too.

There is an article, maybe at Breitbart or CTH, showing exactly how this has been in the works for months and coordinated primarily on FB and social media. I believe it would have happened had Trump never uttered a single combative word, which, by the way I don't agree with at all. This was all about Trump's stand on the border and immigration.

The next direct battlefield I believe is voter fraud with all the high techs at the Sea Coast accord.

Lawyers are trained to argue.

Cruz fell back on his training.

Look at Obama......same thing.

He turned Libya into a mess and then argues that it’s Britain and France’s fault.

He’s a lawyer. They argue.

Govern efficiently and effectively?

They don’t teach that at law school.

Cruz is plenty smart. He just fell back on his training when he should have spoken from righteous indignation.

I think he would have done better if he had spoken from his principles. You know, his principles, the ones he always hauls out at his campaign stops and wags his finger about.

There are a lot of other things they don't teach in law school, like leadership, honesty, and being who you are.

Yes, Cruz showed what he really thinks about the constitution, didn’t he. Not much.

I guess it's easy to support the Constitution when you're in a well-lit, mahogany courtroom with 5 Justices listening to you and you're feeling so all swell about yourself. Cruz isn't built for the real world. I pray his supporters wake up soon, and hope this helps them to.

I know all the quotes and disagree with them totally. I'm not a mindless Trump supporter. It is a little more ethical to describe the contents of a video you are linking to ... you a Cruzer? Sure act like your man.

Cruz has to know that he doesn’t have a chance in hell now. I was on the fence between him and Trump, but I won’t vote for Cruz now. Trump should just run as an independent. To hell with them.

I hope this all backfires and explodes with a cosmic bamg in the GOPe’s face, because if Trump,is the nominee, as is likely, their next step will be vote tampering in the general unless they’re destroyed first.

Cruz’s feedback loop is election returns. He measures “right” and “wrong” by results. To him, the ends justify the means. So, no, he doesn’t know yet whether his remarks will help or hurt the mission as he sees it.

Yep, I agree. See my tag line.

Marco Rubio was pretty noncommital on Trump last night, and in a way actually supported him. But today, he's gone full blown Cruz and I am thinking that's because Cruz has gotten a lot of blowback.

What makes me shudder is the extraordinary power of the republican and conservative establishment. Godspeed Donald J Trump every day in every way.

He doesn’t realize the opportunity he lost, because he’s an establishment shill.

The man is not authentic—if he were, he would’ve naturally capitalized on the opportunity and said the right thing without a 2nd thought.

You are so right. He couldn't have helped himself. Like Rush says, he's the closest we have to I-paid-for-this-microphone Reagan. And Levin and others have pretty much said Cruz lives, breathes and is a walking Constitution. Looks like the expedient Cruz, the say anything to get elected Cruz drowned out all that Constitutional adsorption pretty quickly.

Trump is the only candidate who is risking everything to be our champion. His efforts compare to those of our founders who risked their lives, wealth, and reputations on making the US a reality. Trump is following in their footsteps. I personally think it may be too late to save us, but I’m with Trump in a valiant effort to try.

I believe he is following in their footsteps. I read yesterday, but didn't note where, that he said he would fund his general election campaign himself to free up money for the local candidates nationwide. I definitely plan on researching that. What a thing that would be!!

What Cruz supporters and Conservative elite don't realize you have to have a viable country to repaste a Constitution to. I believe Trump the best hope to save us from demise. Once the bleeding is stopped we can move on from there. Which makes me think Ted Cruz really cares about nothing but winning. There has to be some logic and reality based thinking.

Let us both determine to defeat Cruz, now--because he has let ambition put him into bed with some very discreditable folk;--but hold a candle out for his redemption after the Convention. Why? Because he really does understand the Constitution; and can still play a role in restoring America.

But again, his behavior over the past 20 hours rules out voting for him on Tuesday. I have tried to stay neutral, but not after his recent behavior!

I totally agree with you. Cruz is a wealth of historical and Constitutional knowledge, but his ego has taken over for now.

I don't know where he would do the most good - the Supreme Court or the Trump administration. I don't even know if he would accept. If Carson can forgive Trump, Trump should be able to forgive Cruz for last night.
