At a media availability in Chicago, GOP Presidential candidate Ted Cruz blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

Cruz would never win a vote in the Senate for SC.
You are delutional.
They are all over FR, defending Cruz's comments.
Mark my words, when you unleash violence and condone it you will not be able to control it.
I’ve tried to be nice, but it’s official.
I absolutely despise Ted Cruz. He has turned out to be the snarkiest, nastiest, most dishonest guy I have ever seen.
A political opportunist...now owned by the establishment.
IF anyone tries to defend this latest pack of BS from this man, they are being totally dishonest about THEIR values.
If America is actually paying attention to all this, it should help Trump...
Just look at the class of people who are trying to keep Trump out of the White House by this stupidity....
It was a moment Cruz could have grabbed hold of and been statesman-like and built enormous goodwill and support from conservatives-—IF Cruz had done the right thing and adamantly defended Trump. Hell, Hannity did tonight, and did a pretty good job. Ben Carson, too. Kimberly Guilfoyle, too. But that’s about all (Megan took the opportunity to kick Trump every chance she got....by the way, first time I’ve seen Megan, other than the debates, since August 6, when I stopped watching Fox-—that was the first debate.)
Me too.
Where is the picture of BLM taking Trumps microphone?
Please post it.
Cruz is a whore
Really low-life scumball pig sucking jackwagon, Cruz is.
I've long said I'd vote for either Trump or Cruz. Not anymore. Ted Cruz can kiss my lilly white a$$. No way in hell I'll vote for that scumball. Slimy, lying, opportunistic POS.
I've watched many Trump rallies on youtube and he'll ask the folks not to hurt these intruders. Many of the attendees have waited hours and hours to get to the arena to hear Trump. Trump has also encouraged his folks to defend themselves when these intruders become violent.
The MSM loves to take the actions of one person in 30,000 and blame Trump for their poor judgement. The case of the young black man getting punched by a 74 years old Trump supporter is silly. What they don't show is the same intruder shooting the middle finger in peoples faces and cursing them.
So who's doing the incitement?
I remember many years ago having someone behind me at a movie theater purposely annoy the hell out of the audience that had paid good money to see a movie. I'm not proud of the way I reacted but I didn't blame the projectionist for it.
Yep, just like Isaiah prophesied, just like Jesus prophesied it would be. People need a good dose of Isaiah 3 & Matthew 24 preaching because these are the days we are living in.
I watched this press conference live. It is almost hard to remember now how much respect I used to have for Ted Cruz. Almost all of my respect for him has evaporated over the past few months, as I have watched him lie over and over again about things I have researched thoroughly from original and/or unbiased sources and as I have seen him use any means possible to get ahead (and I’m not forgetting about his famed dirty trickster campaign manager, Jeff Roe, and the highly questionable things his campaign has done).
What I really find disturbing, though, is how subtle he is in his machinations, so that his supporters still see him as an honest and moral man. I have seen him time and again take something that has a kernel of truth and then radically twist the meaning and specifics to deliberately give false impressions. I’ve followed him closely, and in some ways his strategic, ruthless brilliance is admirable on a level.
I will still vote for him if he is the nominee for the sake of the Supreme Court and with the hope that he’ll do something about the border, but I am already at the point where I find him repulsive and can barely stand to look at him. His most devoted supporters’ intolerance of anyone who holds even slightly different opinions hardly puts him in a better light, as he seems to attract close-minded supporters who only believe what confirms their pre-existing biases. All across the Internet, but especially here, they act far too much like the (usually leftist) thought police.
I have no faith that Cruz is anything but a very ambitious hypocrite. I am not at all surprised that he would use this left-wing attack on free speech to attack the victim and use it to his political advantage. I write all this in sadness and disappointment.
#72 The Senate is part of the legislative branch, they write the bills . The President or Executive branch execute the laws
A single senator has no legal power or authority to enact any piece of legislation. Period!
It’s the responsibility of the president to faithfully execute the law. Ie build the wall and enforce immigration law.
And he was absolutely right. Shows from lots of Trump followers!
I was ending my posts `Cruz or Lose!’ then `Trump/Cruz’ not too very long ago, a month or so.
Then I got to know him. Now it’s like admitting I liked Nickleback or America Online.
Trump didn’t even have the courage to take the stage.
Like Trump said “He’s weak”... “a soft little baby”.
Yes and the sooner the better.
This wasn't some scuffle in a rowdy meeting. What you are seeing is the rising of the global violent anti-American left that is coming after our freedoms, our institutions, our way of life. They are coming after you, too, and everything you hold dear.
And tonight, Ted Cruz stands with them.
They see Donald Trump is a threat to their power. Ask yourself: WHY do they not see Ted Cruz as any threat to them at all?
Because he's not.
