Dr. Ben Carson has just made a hypocrite of himself and done great damage to the country by endorsing the moral monster, Donald Trump.

And just WHAT is Cruz going to do?

He isn't even eligible to run!

Nor does he understand much of what he is proposing to do.

Trump was talking about Dr. Carson and his problems because Dr. Carson wrote them in his books, did I like it, no and responded as much…

Carson is done...he has shown himself, by his comments and in his books that he is a patholocial liar… Harley Lady, 11/13/2015

Revisionist history on your part.

people who should know better are supporting Trump out of blind emotion — something akin to the New Left movement of the 60s.

Oh, really? Have a look at freeper entropy12's summary of Trump's platform:

Trump is conservative on these issues:
Pro life since at least 2001,
wanted to ban partial birth abortion as far back as 2000
Pro Traditional marriage. Gay rights is not his thing
Pro capital punishment
Hold Judges accountable
Common core is a disaster
Anti education unions (2000)
For school choice
Believes man made Climate Change is a hoax
No Cap-and-Tax
For drilling our own
Stressed importance of strong family & culture
Supports Israel
Opposes Iran deal and letting Iran obtain the bomb
Wants to crush ISIS quickly
Wants a military so strong no one will challenge us
Against unbalanced trade deals that kill American jobs
Against warrant-less government surveillance of citizens
Against having a high national debt
Warns that $24T is a point of no return
Against gun control
For assault weapon ban but says the AR-15 shouldn't be considered an assault weapon
Wants to repeal Obamacare and replace it with market driven polices and increased competition among insurance companies
Wants to increase military spending
Top priority to build a REAL wall on the southern border, and get Mexico to pay for it
Will deport all illegals but will let the hard working ones go through the legal process to come back
Against anchor babies
Will bring jobs back through better trade negotiation
Stood up for birthers and challenged Obama on his fraud
Believes USA is the greatest force for freedom the world has ever known
Wants to honor commitments on Social Security and Medicare, which we can afford if he gets the economy going full steam.
Wants to reduce the fraud in disability and other programs
Against marriage penalties in tax code
Wants to simplify tax code with just 3 simple brackets
Wants to reduce income taxes and reduce corporate tax
Wants to rebuild our infrastructure
Wants to apply welfare-to-work to 76 other welfare programs (2011)
Does not have time for political correctness
Not afraid to call out either party or both when they are wrong
Not a puppet of mega-rich donors and Lobbyists

I don’t know if you know this, but National Review, American Spectator, and I’m sure all the leftie rags CANNOT survive on subscriptions alone-—they get heavy subsidies from rich donors.

I once did an event with William F. Buckley in which we paid him to speak and he said all of his speaking income went to keep National Review alive as it couldn’t make it on subscriptions. That in itself is pretty interesting.

Diddums, you really DO have a series case of reading comprehension problems. I suggest that you go take a remedial reading class.

Another way to look at it would be: “What are they seeing that I am not?”

But then, sometimes when everyone disagrees with you they are actually wrong.

“We support Trump on his issues. What, pray tell, is emotional about building a wall, building up the military, stopping the de-industrialization of the United States through trade deals, stopping Muslim terrorists from entering the country, etc.”

Those are platforms. They are good platforms. Understandable and likable. The complete lack of detail behind them disqualifies them as issues. Talking points perhaps, but not issues.

Watch out SPRINK - the next thing you know all of your comments will be under review and your posts will take a long time to appear on the page.

It seems there is a bit of soft censorship going on at the moment.

It might be done just to let people cool off - I don’t know. would be nice to have a message in my in-box explaining it though.

Was National Review talking 'sense' when they tried to foist the establishment clones of Romney, Bush and Rubio on us?

One is supposed to deal with politics with a critical eye -- not hysterical German romanticism; i.e., hysterical emotion. As the old saying goes, even broken clocks are right twice a day.
