An honest question to all Cruz supporters that try to describe Trump as a democrat/liberal. If you believe that Trump really is a democrat, and Cruz can't beat him in the GOP primaries, how in the heck do you expect him to win in the general against a real democrat?
Did the amount of democrats who voted for Reagan tell the same thing about him?
Since you’re not getting it: because of people like you.
You don’t believe Trump is a liberal/moderate. You said so yourself. You might not like Cruz, but you’re not going to vote for Hillary.
I support Trump on principle. Period.
...and a bigger majority of republicans have been rejecting Cruz.
Cruz is only pulling 2 demographics. Puritans and Establishment (not to elect him but to force a brokered convention). Hes not going to win. That’s the reality. Bottom line, Trump can win with the types of people hes bringing into the party, Cruz cannot with his supporters half of which are just using him to get a Rino on the ticket.
Trump has the highest unfavorability ratings of any candidate in history and is trailing Hillary in most of the head to head polls. Cruz has a much better chance than Trump against Hillary.
No problem, he's talking Texan, a variant of English, Spanish, and German. Having lived here 30 years, I'm well versed in it.
Translated, he's merely asking Cruz supporters like me is how do we expect Trump to beat Hillary, if Trump is more of a Democrat than Republican?
A possible answer is the thought of Hillary in the White House is far more loathsome than Trump being the next President.
The one issue I don't see Trump backing down on is the wall on our southern border. I haven't seen any "evolving" on that issue.
That’s fine, but the question was asked of Cruz supporters.
Trump is about the only guy who could lose to Hillary in an orange jumpsuit. Most people across the country can’t stand the guy and are disgusted by him. And the Dems will have 70 years of his outrageous, boorish antics to unload on him.
Has Trump gotten over 50% of the cote in any state yet?
Why do you think Cruz is predictable? I don’t think he’s nearly as conservative as he would have you think because he voted for Corker and TPA and is Canadian by birth, and possibly not even eligible to hold the office. How much blind faith do YOU have to have to keep pimping him despite the evidence right in front of your lyin eyes.
Has Trump gotten over 50% of the vote in any state yet?
...except as the field continues to narrow, Trump continues to win, mostly by large margins. There is zero evidence that his winning won’t continue even if the field narrows to two.
I realize that the polls are not terribly meaningful at this point. But Trump does have a ceiling with the voting public and we really don’t know yet where that ceiling is. The polling is all we have right now and it does not look great.
It would be close.
As we move into the head to head contests, Cruz will beat Trump like a rented mule. You obviously have not been paying attention.
This is the long game, and the trophies have not yet been awarded, contrary to what the Trumpettes would have us believe.
Real world does not match those polls, specifically the facts of turn out numbers as between Trump and the dems - and demographics in the primaries from actual votes.
Huh if he’s the nominee then he will have beaten trump.
How would you respond if I asked if trump can’t win the nomination then how can he beat Hillary?
Apologies if they are needed.
An inconvenient fact . . . and from one of the most leftist big government worshiping states in the U.S.A.
