I also appreciate the works of LedZep, the Who, Blue Oyster Cult, etc., but Enya has grown on me as of late.
I always thought she was Scottish, but I guess she’s Celtic (if that’s the right word), or Irish.

If you want a cross between Enya, and good progressive rock, check out the band Iona (lead singer Joanne Hogg, and the electric guitarist Dave Bainbridge).
They are an acquired taste but *quite* worth it. However they are strongly Christian which might put some people off.
Check out YouTube for the songs "Inside My Heart" (ballad / morphs into rock) or Songs of Ascent (deep and stirring).
