Two seemingly disparate worlds collided in Vancouver recently to utterly heartwarming results when a new group of Syrian refugees found themselves in the same hotel as a furry convention.

I'm not a furry myself but I am aware of some of the stranger things people do. Apparently many furries are either very shy or have "identity issues" and aren't really sure what they are and the idea of becoming a living cartoon character appeals to them. Weird but basically harmless.

I spoke breifly to a chick wearing ears and a tail at one of the local carryouts. At least she was cute and good-natured. But alas, too young for my taste these days. Sometimes I hate being an old fart... Har!

dog in the green hoodie behind him actually looks like a
real dog chewing his fingernails . . er claws . . .
Vancouver needs 1100 Syrian refugees...
They already have incredibly overpriced real estate...
Wow. they managed to find 1/2 dozen kids.
