I’m crying and remembering our kitties who have passed on over 20 years of time — Duchess, Homer, Duke, and Noodles. I still cry for them and miss them so much. You have our sympathy.
I’m so very sorry for your loss.
I’m sure that you did everything possible, please have no regrets.Like people, eventually it’s their time to move on.
Very sorry to hear this, but at least she past naturally at home when you were together.
You may have seen this —it is about the passing of a pet companion:
RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies who has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So sorry for your loss. I’ve been there where you are, and I know your heart is broken. When you are ready you will be able to find a new companion for yourself and your other pet, which will help ease your sorrow. We never forget them or stop loving them, and I sincerely believe we will be reunited.
We have three rescue kitties. One is now 15-yrs old and has cancer. He is comfortable (no pain) and we are loving him all we can. He loves more gently than days past as he seems to know the end is near. He will soon join your little one at the Rainbow Bridge. . .Please know you are not alone.
Rest assured your friends on FR are Praying for your and your loving Pet and companion. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Kefira was only 9.75 years old. Would have been 10 7i/7/16.
My condolences on the passing of your beloved cat. You loved her to the very end.
I’m very sorry about your loss.
So sorry for you.
People who have never loved a pet cannot understand.
Prayers and condolences

Sorry your little one passed. I lost my Buster six months ago today.
The one thing you can know for sure is that you loved them, gave them the best life they could have had, and that the loss you feel now proves how much you cared for and loved them - you wouldn’t feel this way if it didn’t mean that much to you.
I am so sorry to hear this, I know how much it hurts. My last cat Motorola turned her face to the wall and died.
Cool picture and quote.
I’m so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is, and how much it hurts.
In her name, maybe you can rescue another, as soon as you feel up to it.
Prayers.

That picture is so beautiful. I know my border collie Roxie is up there with them.
