New footage has emerged that was taken by one of the passengers in the car with LaVoy Finicum that detail his final moments during an encounter with Oregon State Police and the FBI.

Rightfighter has been laying out his side of the argument (which is the police procedure and practice and the results of violating it) and has been sticking with facts. He gets one fact wrong and even admits it when called on it.
I respect that when an opponent in a debate does that. Heck, I have made several and no one (except for Rightfighter) called me on it when I referred to there being 9 shots instead of 3.
But that is how I learn, how human beings learn, is from mistakes.
I am enjoying the debate Rightfighter and I are having because we are exchanging info and trying to sort out the facts. Many others are two. May we all end up with twice the info to base our understanding of this incident on.
Don't get mad at Rightfighter because he takes the opposing side in this debate. What would a debate be without an opponent ?

I've been wondering, you see the 'blacked out' areas around the drone footage covering Finicum's murder? IS THAT BLACKED-OUT BECAUSE THAT THAT WAS A U.S. MILITARY DRONE OVERSEEING THE AMBUSH?

As has been gently explained to you a NUMBER of times, the unidentified guys at the first stop, who had just shot at the truck, CLAIMED they were the Oregon state police. So Finicum wasn't "running from the police".
My state police look like state police. I can identify one from several hundred yards away. These guys were TALKING with Finicum -how come they didn't look like state police?
Finicum was rolling down the road at a normal-to-fast speed when he came around a blind curve and saw a roadblock blocking the ENTIRE road. More unidentified vehicles, BTW.
Now, the Oregon state police themselves describe a roadblock as "deadly force" - even when leaving a recommended "safe lane" if the stoppee INSISTS on running the roadblock.
The OSP didn't leave a "safe lane" - they blocked the entire road, with unidentified vehicles AROUND a blind curve.
Finicum didn't "[try] to bypass a roadblock" he tried to avoid crashing into a double application of deadly force.

The protest was peaceful on the part of the citizens. Not so much on the part of the government. That’s why we have the 2nd Amendment.

Presumably their job was to arrest him. They didn’t care who he was talking to, they wanted to put him in a cage (alive or dead). When he got out of the car screaming about “shoot me” and reaching into his coat, he gave them reason to shoot him. That’s not justifying their mindset in arranging the situation, it just observes that he went a long way in giving them reason to end it as they did. They had a chance to stop him, their goal was to stop him, he gave them objective urgent reason to stop him, and they stopped him.

We had a number of LEO boosters descend on the threads and try to sell these same arguments.
Of course, we didn't have the in-truck video at the time, but we were still correct about the events.
No, my mind isn’t made up. I’m asking questions: why would he leave the building when any idiot would know police would be out there setting roadblocks to apprehend him, and kill him at the slightest threat of lethal intent on his part (which he did)?

I think you are mistaken. Rightfighter has stuck to facts. He made one mistake. So what ? He admitted to it and conceded it. How does that make one a (supply popular meme label here).

If a person has a pre-arranged meeting with a lawman, then those other so-called lawmen should not only let him attend the meeting, they should provide escort for him to get to the meeting...This is all BULLSH*T.....
