If any idea should be non-controversial among Republicans, I would have thought it would be this: Hillary Clinton should never be president of the United States. Whether you start with her corruption, her lack of achievements, her lack of skill or her total lack of anything resembling principles this is clearly not a person any Republican should be willing to see in the White House.
Yet with barely one-sixth of the delegates chosen in the race for the Republican nomination, the party establishment is so panicked over the possibility that Donald Trump might win the nomination, we have people practically tattooing #NeverTrump to their foreheads and vowing that under no circumstances will they vote for him even if its the only way left to make sure the president is #NeverHillary.

Spotlights need to be shined on what Romney and the GOPe are doing behind the scenes.
It’s time for someone to publish a deck of “personality identification playing cards” for the Republican Establishment.
Need a #NORomney drive
The GOPE needs to be made painfully aware that any attempt at this sort of garbage will result in whole state delegations walking out of the convention.
Its funny, Hillary has never done anything or passed any bills that benefit minorities. But she sure has the scandals and evidence following her for helping out the rich and the 1%rs. The Race issue has surfaced only for the elections. I would not be surprised to find out the Hillary campaigned hired the KKK to endorse Trump.
Rush Limbaugh: Bigger upside than downside if Donald Trump wins GOP nomination
By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Sunday, March 6, 2016
Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh bucked the GOP establishment Sunday and declared there is “a much bigger upside than downside” to Donald Trump winning the Republican presidential nomination.
“I think with the case of Trump, there’s a much bigger upside than downside,” Mr. Limbaugh said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”
The praise from the king of conservative talk radio came as the Republican establishment launched a massive offensive to derail the front-runner, including a scathing denouncement of Mr. Trump last week from 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
Mr. Limbaugh said that despite the outrage GOP leaders have directed at Mr. Trump, the billionaire businessman and reality TV star had assembled the broad coalition of voters that the Republican establishment has long sought.
The establishment is seriously out of touch with the voters, so much so that Hillary represents them better than Trump. I don’t think, therefore, that there appears to be a downside for them to stealing the nomination.
I love Herman. Listen to him rather than Beck. Another advantage of being in the north woods of the Peach state
well, except where personal fortunes are concerned.
Well Congrats GOPE you manged to unite the party...against you.
Everyone from Beck to Cain thinks this Romney nonsense is stupid.
Hmmmm. Stratboy? Would indicate to me that you are a fan of Fender Stratocasters? Me too. In a 4 Strat kinda way. :>) Anyway, Mrs. rktman made the observation the other night during the gopE “debate” that it seems the ruling elites had a good cop bad cop talk with ted and marco. “Marco, you don’t stand a chance so you attack Trump goading him it to making outrageous comments. Ted, you step in and try to calm things down and make yourself look reasonable.” Sound plausible?
Roger that. We try to listen when we can. We like the Herminator.
This is the lesson the GOPE better learn. Everyone from Rush to Beck is saying this Romney nonsense is stupid. The GOPE has manged to unite the party...against them.
Beck is a moron That said even a broken clock is right twice a day
Some of the best radio around
Yep, no fan of Beck. I would of thought since he is a fellow Mormon and absolutely hates Trump he would be all in.
When even HE thinks it stupid, that is pretty telling on how epic fail Romney is.
Your thoughts do sound totally plausible. I think they are in cahoots to try to bring down Trump. Cruz should be very weary since he should know how they already feel about him. Either he is naive to believe that he thinks he will get the nod with Trump out, or he doesn't want Trump to win and has sold his soul. Neither is way is good.
Putting Cruz against Hillary is a sure way to put her in the WH with Cruz’ record.

ASSOCIATES THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE; NEVER LIKED OR TRUSTED HIM:
Alumni, roommates, law clerks, former staffers in the George W. Bush campaign and White House (and the president himself), members of Congress and others who have known Cruz â lots and lots of people â consider him socially awkward, nasty, dishon
httpest, a blatant apple-polisher and all-around creepy guy. You can write off a few of these critics as jealous of his success, or liberal antagonists, but all of them? There is something badly amiss here. Cruz, who so obviously lacks emotional intelligence, cannot recognize it, but those closest to him surely must see that something is awry...

Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes.
Ted Cruz came to Washington two-and-a-half years ago pledging to be the anti-senator. But he’s been more like the no-show senator.
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes in what has been a Senate career long on rhetoric and short on Senate business.
He’s skipped the vast majority of Armed Services Committee hearings, is below-average in attendance on his other major committees and ranks 97th during the first three months of this year in showing up for roll call votes on the Senate floor. ... -Read more: Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen
