Donald Trump continues his dominance in the southern states by picking up Louisiana handily over Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. With 46 delegates, Louisiana has many of the same demographics as Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

I just thought of something: they keep saying “If x drops out, the vote will consolidate against Trump” and most of us kind of accepted that . . . .
except some 15 candidates have already dropped out and Trump’s still on top and X is still in second or third place. Obviously Crhistie went to Trump-—how many of his voters? How many Paulites? How many of Santorum’s? Etc. Obviously some have or we wouldn’t be still talking about the vote “consolidating” against Trump.
Yes the end is near.
is that accurate from their predictions?
if so, I may borrow your line
Reverse is true as Trump is second everywhere he doesn’t lead except MN and thereby gets delegates, which is why he leads by 100.
Trump isn’t ahead by 100. He’s ahead by 84.
It was no surprise that Christie’s supporters would go to Trump. Trump likely got some of Paul’s supporters and Cruz got some. I think it will be the same with Carson’s supporters. Very few Rubio voters will get behind Trump. Trump was way too rude to Rubio.
At this point it might as well be 8400.
Texas is Southern
It’s also Texas.....it’s own country at times
If no one believes me look how it changes from Texline and Dalhart to Clayton New Mexico
Go to Tuciumcari and order iced tea
Stop in Amarillo at Big Texan and it’s immediately Sweet ice tea and y’all
Lotsa Yankees moving into Texas but Dallas and Houston are still more southern than Nashville
But the first Anglos were overwhelmingly southerners and it shows
We’ll see.
