Passed on the S6 because Samsung deleted several features.
Waterproof and SD card are back with the S7. Mine arrived yesterday. Very pleased with it.
S7 should vastly improve Samsung numbers.

This might sound petty and off-topic, but I never did like Apple’s logo. Why don’t they have a full apple, without the bite? The bite makes it look tacky.
They always do for the introductory month, then fade back until Samsung drops prices.
I'm waiting until the Note 6 comes out.
The graphic artist who originally drew it say he put the bite there to give it scale, so it wouldn't be mistaken for a cherry. Others say it represents the bite from the tree of knowledge. Others say, it's the bite that Newton took out of the Apple that honked him on the head when he was contemplating why it fell. . .
I lean toward the graphic artist knowing what the real reason was. . .

My point was that 2015 was a dud year for Samsung as they released a nice phone but one that had features deleted that a lot of Samsung fans wanted. Like me, I am sure that a lot deferred a purchase till 2016 and the release of the S7.
I also think a lot were waiting to see what the Microsoft 950 would be like in late 2015 and being disappointed with it are now buying the S7.

I like the Note 5, just not ready for that large of a phone.
The S7 is about the same size as the S6.

Looking at the spec list, about the only new things I see are they've stolen the patented 3DTouch from the Apple iPhone 6S (that should be interesting to see what Apple's legal response will be), and added water resistance and dust proof. Samsung went back to having expandable memory, though.
