Trump defended Carson many times and the Cruz campaign kept pulling dirty tricks on Carson.
Carson should follow Christie and endorse Trump.

He’ll endorse Trump. Unless he is intimidated by the threats that the Establishment will no doubt make to him.
When a candidate drops out, most of their supporters don’t vote at all. There are plenty of polls thay prove it.
The math that the pundits keep trying to do is a joke.
When a candidate drops out the number of likely voters will simply decrease and this obviously benefits the front runner in every case.
If they can get over the fact that Trump compared Carson to a pedophile, Trump will get a few and Rubio will get the rest, keeping him in the race.
Thanks, Donald.
Ben Carson Says GOP Not ‘Dense,’ Implies Trump ‘Very, Very Bad Mistake’

Trump. But in return for something, Dr. Carson has had a good tutor in how to negotiate deals.
According to frank Duntz and tonight’s group of dunces, John Kasich is going to get everyone’s vote.
Kasich and Trump.
I’m betting it will be Trump
Carson knows that Kasich is out of the race after Ohio
Carson’s ‘closet meeting’ with Cruz didn’t go well so he’s out
Carson is being badgered by someone(s) in the GOP-e, so Rubio the establishment shill is out
I think he has won 8 delegates so far, On the first vote at the convention they are committed to Ben Carson. After that they can vote for whom ever they want. If Carson endorses somebody else , then they are released to vote for who ever they want on the first vote at the convention. His endorsement means that he is asking his delegates to vote for the candidate that he chooses to endorse. Once again after the first count the delegates are free to vote for whom ever they want. The first vote is not held on the convention floor anymore. That is pretty much done when the delegates register at the convention. So what you see on TV will be the final vote count. In 2008 Hillary demanded that there be a floor count even though in the first count she was already out.
Despite the Cruz stunt early on Cruz is the natural inheritor.
Outsider. Conservative Christian evangelical voters.
I thought the “please prayerfully consider dropping out” Cruz said was directed at Carson
Trump compared Carson to a child molester, incurably pathological. I don’t think that endeared Trump to Gentle Ben’s supporters.
Some in my family voted for Carson and now support Trump. I suspect his votes will go to the Pub nominee.
Trump will get the majority of votes from anyone who drops out except those that only vote pro-life, Cruz gets those....maybe some of those go to Rubio but not as many. The GOPe has way overplayed its hand with the Romney fiasco yesterday.
