I was looking for the Romney speech live and found a note on his Facebook page to "Watch my speech on the state of the 2016 presidential race LIVE on Facebook at 11:30 AM, ET."
Can't find the Facebook link but LOL'd at the comments he is getting. Perhaps some Freepers could add to the discourse??

Trump must continue to fight hard for the next 2 weeks. He needs to EXPOSE Rubio everywhere he goes, and he needs to be tough. He need not lose his temper(Rubio’s game to take him down), but he must stay tough. Americans put him where he is thus far, BECAUSE he is tough. Anything less will hurt him. Let Rubio lose HIS temper. Hell, he already has!
Every question Trump gets tonight at the debate will be, “How do you respond to what Romney said when he brought up....”? How Romney could lower himself to be part of this obvious ploy makes me think he got an offer he couldn’t refuse from the RNC. Maybe we should refer to it as the DOPe instead of the GOPe.
Trumps says: I don't, he's a loser establishment phony hack and he's not running cause he lost 2 elections already, NEXT.
But I am focused in this thread on the potential emotional impact of Trump making the most fine tuned response to the opportunity the Romney attack affords.
Nixon was certainly not a model for Conservatives, but his little dog speech in 1952 was a brilliant moment, of turning adversity to advantage. Rove--for whom I have contempt, not for his character primarily, but for his really pathetic analytic ability--missed a similar opportunity for Bush, when he did not have Bush on TV election eve in 2000, to take advantage of the dirty tactics that put his just after College DUI over the airways the weekend before the election.
That also was a missed historic opportunity, to use a seemingly hostile tactic to tremendous advantage. (The obvious tactic being to spend 2o seconds admitting he made a boyish mistake in his youth, and then try to electrify the enlarged audience with a vision for the future, over the next 28 1/2 minutes.
I know what you mean.
Nixon was an odd guy. A strong anti-communist, he adhered to “free market economics” (just as, supposedly, Kennedy adhered to “Keynesianism”) while each did just the opposite.
That said, we are in a much, much different media era where there are SO many ads, tweets, comments, news conferences. In fact, that is why Trump has succeeded. He understood before anyone else that no one comment, or even a few, can sink you anymore because of the 24-7 news cycle. All you had to do was stay in front of it, like a surfer on top of the wave. As long as he’s in the right spot, he goes all the way to the beach!
So are you saying both Trump and Romney lie? If so, I agree.
He needs to quietly, but firmly and sincerely explain how Romney failed to go for the Obama jugular in 2012; to quietly, but firmly point out how wrong Romney was, but always sounding Presidential, demolish his argument, without making it sound personal. Why?
Because, like it or hate it, you do not want to risk sounding unfair to someone who still has some sentimental pockets of support, that you can easily win, by a more gentle put down--a more gentle destruction.
Rubio, on the other hand, really invites a sterner toned put down.
Any relationship to the shooter of Reagan? This Hinckley name?
FMR&BHO
Ed
I’m assuming it relates to Gordon B. Hinckley, an LDS past president and prophet.
Go home, newbie. Your mommy’s calling.
As if we needed more proof that the GOP is totally clueless...here come Mitt. The comments on FB are funny- didn’t see one positive one!
Thanks I’ll have check them out.
I don’t think Trump for single payer system. Are you suggesting to let people die on the street?
When Mitt said Trump is con man, fraud, liar, corruption....., is he talking about Washington DC?
>>> Romneys dog is voting for Trump. <<<
LOL!
I don’t care who you are, that’s funny.
Cruz and others have been lying and saying Trump is for single payer. They claim that when he said he would not allow the very poor to “die in the street,” that mean he was for single-payer for every American.
How on earth did you reach that conclusion?
Romney has been assimilated into the GOPee hive.
Stick to being a football fan.
