The End Of The Republican Party As We Know It?
Self | 3/1/2015 | USConservative

Ok, have at it.

Will Tonight mark the end of the Republican Party, or the Republican Party as we know it?

Death to the GOP-E as far as I'm concerned, and I'm proud to be a Fiscal and Social Conservative.

I am unabashedly Pro Family, Pro God, Pro Life, Pro First Amendment, Pro Second Amendment, Pro Constitution and Pro Capitalism.

Political Elites can go to hell. Go directly to hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

I personally will gladly welcome blue collar whites who are tired of getting the shaft and church going blacks that feel betrayed on social issues by the godless Democratic party.

1.He thinks affirmative action is okay.
2.He would fund Planned Parenthood except for abortion. (This is current federal policy)
3.He supports a progressive income tax. He does not favor a flat tax.
4.He doesn’t want to cut Social Security or Medicare.
5.He’s in favor of a ban on assault weapons.
6.He supports Universal Healthcare coverage for every American and the “govt. will pay for it”.
7.He doesn’t “fully believe in supply-side economics”.
8.He wants to lead “from behind” on Ukraine. Trump believes that Germany should take the lead on Ukraine.
9.He hates the Iran deal, but he wouldn’t abrogate it after taking office.
10. A short 5 years ago he termed the Republican approach to immigration enforcement “mean spirited”.
11.He supports “touchback amnesty”.
12.He has supported/supports such liberal sacred cows as ethanol subsidies, Kelo and govt. bailouts.

These documented positions of Donald Trump would appear to be in direct opposition to your earlier stated principles. That’s why I ask. Do you understand now?

He wouldn’t listen - I believe he’s gone all-in for Hillary.

Well, she was a very high ranking government official, I assume she knew what she could and could not do... I'm taking her word for it. sarc

I happen to agree with the Donald.

The debt, external or otherwise, is totally unsustainable, and, as it stands right now, can never be repaid.

That, of course, is by design.

If we repudiate the debt (maybe I should say “when”!), global trade will be in the tank for the following 35 - 40 years, at least.

But it’s going to be necessary. The war(s) that will be fought in it’s aftermath will be unavoidable, and also necessary if we are to survive as a nation.

That, of course, is something the Left has been working to eliminate for quite some time.

We can bitch and moan about the state of affairs the ruling class has left us in, but for my money the real culprit is the Marxist-infested educational system that has destroyed generations of bright, promising young minds.

From earliest times (late 1800’s), the Left targeted the educational establishment as their first priority, and the ascension of John Dewey certainly put them well on that path.

But just remember - when the shinola starts hitting the fan, and things spiral out of control, this cultural icon must be one of the first to be dealt with.

How that will turn out, I have no idea.

CA....

I live in Arkansas and someone just tweeted that according to exit polling that 63% of those voting think this is the real election. They don;t seem to know what a primary is.
They just don’t even bother to teach the basics anymore in school. A government or civics course was always taught, well that and history are no more I guess.

Whatever is going on, to worship and venerate a single person as the solution is not the solution.

Reagan was good but not the solution. He always spoke of the American people with veneration, not himself.

Newt Gingrich sounded like a good fellow, but he was only one guy human and imperfect.

Rush Limbaugh is an intelligent guy and a good analyst. We all laughed when he entered the picture. But he is just one guy, too, flawed perhaps by his family’s lifelong allegiance and devotion to the GOP as a political institution.

Trump or Cruz, why fight. Neither one of these guys is perfect.

I think much of the fight ginned up in the media and here on FR since Christmas was deliberate to help Rubio come out smelling like a rose.

Rubio and the GOPe are wrong, that we know for sure.

How will people vote ‘down ticket’ tonight? Will incumbent GOP congressman like Bradley Byrne in AL-1 and Kevin Brady in TX-8 lose? If we keep electing people like them, things aren’t changing.

Good rant. Speaking of $200 (Monopoly)

Socialists, like all other monopolists, desire to make the law their own weapon. And when once the law is on the side of socialism, how can it be used against socialism? For when plunder is abetted by the law, it does not fear your courts, your gendarmes, and your prisons. Rather, it may call upon them for help.

Socialism Is Legal Plunder - “The Law” - Bastiat

7. It must not be forgotten that the members of the legislative body are to have a deep stake in the game. This is an essential point, and happily is attended with no difficulty. A sufficient number, properly disposed, can alternately legislate and speculate, and speculate and legislate, and buy and sell, and sell and buy, until a due portion of the property of their constituents has passed into their hands to give them an interest against their constituents

Brady has been running radio ads about what a staunch conservative he is. Cruz has this three-way spot where Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, and Rick Perry all endorse him. I don’t know what I think about that either.

“Will Tonight mark the end of the Republican Party, or the Republican Party as we know it?”

No, 2001 ended the Republican Party as we knew it. That was when the party stopped be careful about using the military and ESPECIALLY when President Bush OPENED THE SOUTHERN BORDER to all who wanted to come in.

Had those two things not happened, Trump would have been LAUGHED OFF STAGE a week after announcing.

What will happen after tonight is that the Republican Party will be REBORN, and will REPRESENT ITS VOTERS.

That may mean a lot of GOP Operatives need to find new jobs, but it is the PRICE THEY MUST PAY for their ABSOLUTE ARROGANCE in lying to and ignoring their voters.

...but my wife does work in placement, and can help them with their resume’s, assuming they pay her price.

The end of the republican party was when they allowed Obama to Usurp the presidency in 2008.

The GOP died when they won massive victories in 2010 to counter Obama.

They did not counter Obama.

2014 just kicked some more dirt over their rotten corpse. Obama has gotten more done under McConnel Boehner than Reid Pelosi.
