The Best Indoor HDTV Antenna (Cord Cutters Alert)

After spending more than 20 hours attaching many antennas to multiple TVs in two different testing locations (one suburban and one urban), watching way too much daytime programming, and compiling objective data from a signal strength meter, we think the Antennas Direct ClearStream Eclipse is the indoor HD antenna with the best combination of features for most users.

I only needed the MOHU Leaf antenna. It looks like a vinyl flooring square. Great reception from nearly 40 miles. I went from a bill of $141.88 from the cable company to $25 a month for internet only (for 6 months) then afterward the internet service provider (ISP) company I have will charge $41 a month. I can switch to another provider or have my speed lowered for a lower bill.

Using a tv antenna and an app called Sling TV, you will have most of what you had with the cable company but at a much lower price. There are many many free tv channels that show older programs available now that are being broadcast. Just use your over the air antenna to receive them. Here is a list I see that are broadcast from the Los Angeles area. The regular over the air tv channels also have additional ones such as ABC channel 7 would also have 7.1 and 7.2
