They lead to high-risk sex The drink companies should use this in advertising on college campuses, along the lines of promoting a book as having been "Banned in Boston." YOU CAN'T BUY PUBLICITY LIKE THIS!

I guess strong coffee is just flat out, then. Back to snorting Bactine. I've never heard of that before, never even imagined it, but it has me laughing my @ss off and I have no idea why! Lol!

I think they are confusing these drinks with beer.

Do energy drinks cause condoms to fail? I never needed any stimulants, good old adrenalin worked just fine.

Is not Vermont set to legalize marijuana? I can tell you as someone who used the wachky tebachy in the 1980's it definitely mellows you out, habitual use dumbs you down, makes you more intellectually lazy and pliable, more passive. Lefties love pot, it could create the zombie class they love.

Although those products will no longer be sold on campus, students can still purchase them from retailers elsewhere. Well, that's good of them. I guess we're not going to see any Prohibition-era mobs of college students sacking offending grocery stores after all. The local merchants will breathe a collective sigh of relief.
Knowing as many undergraduates as I do, I suspect this is likely to meet with a chorus of derision, as it ought. It's a good life lesson: never cede any meaningful power to committees of academics and over-earnest student reformers. These are people who will loudly defend your right to put whatever they want into your body, but not necessarily what you want. Probably worth the price of admission just to learn that one.

Yeah, their box is the campus. I’ll bet they don’t even allow guns on campus.

They mix redbull and other energy drinks with vodka.
You can drink pretty much all night by combining stimulants with depressants.

First it’s the energy drinks, then your espresso machines, finally your K-cup brewers.

Condom failure is generally caused by rapid tempo and/or long duration.
I guess energy drinks could contribute to the first factor.

This story makes me want to stop off for a RedBull. I work for an environmental consulting firm and our H&S guy says energy drinks are banned on jobs and in our company vehicles. I routinely break these rules.
To: sparklite2
I think there was a story a while back about banning espresso stands on campus.
