Please tell me this is morally justified. Please tell me that one can consider himself/herself a perfect Christian and commit such sleazy acts. Yes, when I was an adolescent, I had fantasies. Hormones rage. The boy couldn't resist. The mind of an older woman, however, is wired differently. And it is NOT okay coming from her end.

The adult in these situations has to keep things under control. The adult is going to have to take blame,legal and moral, if things happen.

LOOK at all of the teacher child molesters (at the link below). Page after page. It’s absolutely disgusting. What has happed to American schools?

Minors have statutory rape.

If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you are with. Or, groom them and prey on them. I know that these things happened when I was that young but with out the internet to publish the deeds people looked the other way. I had a female teacher who was fooling with a student about 8 years younger.

Nothing new. 50 years ago we had both a male and a female teacher who were caught having affairs with students in my small high school, but back then they were simply let go and the details didn’t even make the local news reports.

Not hard to understand when you set aside the quaint old fable (one that even George Gilder endorsed) that women are somehow inherently superior to men in terms of sexual morality. All those female behavioral prohibitions in Catholicism and Islam evolved for a reason.

But the epidemic is primarily being driven by a lack of maturity. As I have posted before, there is not much difference culturally between these "women" and their students - they listen to the same music, watch the same TV shows, and exist in the same cultural milieu. The age difference doesn't mean there is much difference in maturity, class, or culture, which would not have been true at all fifty years ago.

1. Haeli Wey seduced a student during a school ministry program

28-year-old Haeli Wey initiated sexual contact with a teenage student during a school ministry program. Even worse? He wasn’t her last victim. Wey eventually moved on to another student.

She was charged with two counts of conducting an improper relationship between a teacher and a student and faces 20 years in jail.

2. Shelley Dufresne and Rachel Respess assaulted their victim together

Louisiana teachers Shelley Dufresne and Rachel Respess sparked a threesome with a 16-year-old student after a football game.

Incidentally, Dufresne is the daughter of an area judge, calling her relatively light sentencing, which includes house arrest, into question.

3. Virginia Houston Hinckley had sex with a student and then announced she is pregnant

This might be the most shocking one yet. Florida teacher Virginia Houston Hinckley has been accused of having sex with her 16-year-old student.

However, it was recently revealed that she was pregnant, leaving many to wonder if the father is someone other than her doting husband.

4. Matthew Shane Wester married the underage girl he was accused of having sex with

Matthew Shane Wester, a 37-year-old Alabama teacher, was arrested for having sexual relations with a female student nearly half his age. That’s not where the story ends.

He married her! Wester and 18-year-old Amy Nicole Fox have officially tied the knot.

5. Heather Phillips manipulated her 12-year-old daughter’s boyfriend into sexual relations

40-year-old preschool teacher Heather Phillips found herself behind barswhen it was revealed that she had convinced her 12-year-old daughter’s boyfriend, who is 15, to engage in sexual conduct with her.

It was reported that she called him a “hot kid” and said things like “I wish you were mine.”

6. Amber Telford engaged in a lengthy relationship with one of her dance students

After her husband became suspicious and hired a private detective, it was revealed that 33-year-old dance teacher Amber Telford was conducting an illicit, and lengthy, affair with a 17-year-old student.

She even bought him exorbitant gifts, including a trip to Disneyland.

7. Christina Busby stunned Christian school by having an affair with student

A former teacher at the esteemed Faith Academy in Mobile, Alabama, was busted for engaging in sex acts with a 17-year-old student.

33-year-old Christina Busby was found out when the student’s mother found inappropriate text messages on his phone.

8. Symone Greene was a substitute teacher for just one day before getting into trouble

22-year-old Symone Green was hired as a substitute teacher for just one day in a Washington, D.C., high school.

It only took her hours before she began sending explicit text messages to a 17-year-old student, whom she later performed a sex act on.

9. Quinton Wright set up a sex closet for his 14-year-old student

This one is a bit different. Math teacher Quinton Wright didn’t actually engage in sexual activity with a student, but he did knowingly set up an area for 14-year-old students to have sex with one another.

He even noted that the girl couldn’t “tell anybody” and informed them that he didn’t have any condoms.

10. Brianne Altice approached an underage boy while out on bail

Utah teacher Brianne Altice, who is 35-years-old, has been arrested onmultiple occasions for engaging in sexual conduct with minors.

This year, however, found Altice being arrested for having sex with an underage boy while she was out on parole. Altice’s serial perversion makes her the 2015 “teacher-sex offender” of the year.

Here is hoping that 2016 brings us fewer of these stories.
