I'm not saying there is any problem with his taxes. I'm just saying.... you know... a lot of people are saying there is.... and he's saying he's been audited 12 years in a row.... and we have to make America great again... we need to know. He should go to a court and get this thing settled. We can't just have it out there. He needs to get a judge to look at it and you know... make a ruling. You know... a lot of people are saying it's a problem. I don't know, but a lot of people are saying it's a problem... believe me... then there's this thing about him maybe being guilty of tax evasion.... I'm not saying he is... but believe me.... a lot of people are saying he is. So you know.... we just have to know... Some people who are really knowledgeable about this thing.... people that are the best, I know great people, and these guys are tough and they're the best.... they're saying there may be a problem. I’m not setting anything up.... and I could never be clever. I don’t know if there is a problem with his taxes.... I don’t know if there is tax evasion there. A lot of people are saying maybe there is a problem.... believe me.
If he’s in the middle of an audit by the IRS, I agree with him. Don’t give them ammo. Let them come forward with what they have first, and then go from there.
I suspect Trump puts almost everything back into his company, and claims very little to nothing as income from it. Odds are his TV show paid for more than needed for a debt free family life.
So, my guess is he’s found creative ways of sheltering that TV income, which I heard was substantial.
Finally, tax papers have nothing to do with personal assets, holdings, gross/net worth.
I figure Hillary has them in Trumpy’s FBI file .... in her basement.

Romney released some sort of a summary of the current year taxes in January 2012, but didn’t release his actual tax records until September 2012.
Trump said it might be a few months, I don’t see a problem.
I do find it interesting that it was Romney who decided to go Harry Reid on Trump. I’m guessing he decided that Cruz and Rubio couldn’t get the job done without him.

I don't think people understand corporate tax returns - you don't go 'to court'. You have your people prepare the monthly and quarterly returns and then fiscal-year-end returns and send the returns to an independent accounting firm for a preliminary audit to catch bookkeeping errors or incomplete documentation or missing forms. Then you might send it for a second independent audit with a different firm. Then you submit to the IRS. Then you deal with IRS pencil-pushers who have nothing better to do than nitpick every line item to make themselves feel important. If the IRS finds a problem, it could mean making adjustments on prior year's returns or putting off a deduction until the following year. So a return isn't final until the IRS says it's final. Trump has filed taxes every year he's been in business - that's not evading. Both Cruz and Rubio just broke their own pledge and released 'partial' returns. Trump put out a financial statement (which tells more than a tax return) months ago. I don't recall any financial statements from Cruz or Rubio, especially concerning Rubio's private PAC. So who's being evasive? The mega-successful private-citizen businessman, or the two lawyers who can't deliver what they demand another person do?
