Al-Watan online daily said Saturday that religious police in charge of monitoring social networks found more than 600 tweets denying the existence of God, ridiculing Quranic verses, accusing all prophets of lies and saying their teachings fueled hostilities. ...

Well, I guess the upside to the leftists selling out this country and bringing known enemies into it, is that someday we will be able to watch these newcomers to our nation flog the hell out of the people who let them in. Schadenfreude in a way.

Why don’t Bill Maher and Neil “DeFraud” Tyson take their act over there?

You really believe those “intellectual” puzzies would risk any “pain” to stand up for their views????

This is why hedonism will always fail in the end when challenged; as will atheists.

This life is all there is, to them; and none will therefore risk death or privations for their beliefs.

The good news is that Saudi Arabia is now leading the UN Human Rights Council, so it should be very easy to file a grievance about this - no translators needed!

Now that he knows Satan exists, from personal experience, perhaps he’ll draw the logical conclusion that God exists also.

Seriously, this must be Saint Darwin at work. For this idiot to do so *in country* means that he is a defective unit, and should be eliminated from the gene pool. All he had to do was to travel to a non-Muslim country and post anonymously, and he could have done the same thing.

Thinking he had a right to express his anti Muslim views in a Wahhabi ruled country like Saudi Arabia indicates he isn't too bright. -Tom

That was my first thought as well. At the absolute minimum he should have used high-anonymous stuff like TOR network, typed in a room without windows, not used ANY information and never hinted to anyone about what he said online. I’m only guessing but I’m fairly sure he did something incredibly stupid like tweet in a public place with his tweets in full view of every Mohammed walking by.

I won’t live to see it, but that’s what the liberals are unwittingly begging for. Maybe Freud was onto something.

I run into so many people who have the “get it while you can” philosophy. Even quite a few “Christians”. I do ask if getting things in this “world” is compatible with a Christian-centric viewpoint and I am told it is.

Wouldn’t denying and repudiating “allah” be the same as denying and repudiating “satan”?

Dugout Don is taking notes for when he reopens our libel laws.

Just kidding. Sort of.

Philippians 3:18-20 ...

18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Timothy 5:5-10 ...

5and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. 6But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. 7For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. 8If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 9But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Many years ago, those who went into “public service” did so for a short time and by doing so only did their civic duty as service to the people. they did not seek a lifetime of power, and all the benefits thereof. They came, they represented and they went home, making way for new blood and new servants of the people. In the manner in which so many have become lifetime politicians, and have stayed for decades, they have become intoxicated by the “power” and forgot what being a servant of the people meant. These same lifetime politicos, with their power and prestige, are not whom *I* would consider Godly men and women.

Those are alternate spellings of the same word, just like the American "color" and the British "colour".
