Legendary artist and activist Yoko Ono was rushed to a Manhattan hospital on Friday night after suffering a possible stroke, sources said.
Ono, a 70s icon and wife of John Lennon, called 911 at around 9 p.m. and said she feared she was having a stroke, according to the sources.

She’s nine years older than Paul would have been. Four years older than the phony replacement brought in after the real Paul died.
Considering her “singing”, how could anyone tell?
Yes
Remember ‘Bed peace’? Man, the Lennons both looked like Cousin It.
Cartoonist Al Capp really had some fun with them.
He could be that, there is no doubt. But I don’t think the band could have held together as long as they did and produced the quantity and quality of music they did if Lennon generally acted like that. Lennon-McCartney is hands down the greatest songwriting team of the 20th century. Of Lennon Paul said, “His public persona was really just bravado.”
Do you have any suggestions about therapy? A friend of mine had a stroke a month ago. He now speaks in a barely-audible whisper, and one side of his body is weak. He is being cared for as an outpatient at a local VA hospital, but I don't trust their quality of care.
LOL!!
Stop playing your record backwards ;-)
That’s the way I feel, and anyway, I’ve never felt any animosity against her. Maybe I’m just a true child of the sixties.
Here’s hoping the best for her.
I was lucky. Just a blockage that only cost me some eyesight.
Coincidentally, my father had a hemorrhagic stroke 4 years ago that fortunately only cost him some eyesight too. But was still several weeks in rehab to get his coordination back. Persistent therapist who wouldn’t take NO for an answer.
One of them told him that she had been called everything in the book before, so nothing he could say was going to phase her or stop her from doing her job. I give the staff a lot of credit for giving him back to us.
Good luck to your friend. It’s got to rough.
And that's all fine. Ever heard "Genius is Pain" on National Lampoon's Radio Dinner? I have it on Vinyl! Play it every Halloween ... for the kids! But to me it's all true history, you know? I remember the exact moment when I heard, you know?
... and anyway, it's "Cousin Itt" !
I hope their apartment had sound proofed walls.
/hideous mental image
I thought the Beatles were over rated at the time but
they were unique at their start. I don’t happen to think
they were the greatest at anything but to each his own.
Her singing was rather like the sound of fornicating cats, IIRC. Still, I hope she recovers.
Until I have to hear her....
Thanks.
Thank you, Bob.
We should never make fun of anyone with a serious illness
Poor thing
That will never happen here
Some Freepers are basement rat scum with zero zilch nada empathy or humanity
