Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump secured support from a questionable source on Wednesday: white supremacist and former Klu Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke.
According to BuzzFeed, Duke explained why his listeners should back Trump on his radio show.
"Voting for these people, voting against Donald Trump at this point is really treason to your heritage," he reportedly said in reference to Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz on the "David Duke Radio Program."
While Duke stopped short of an outright endorsement, the racial animus was clear from his Trump pitch (emphasis ours):
I'm not saying I endorse everything about Trump, in fact I haven't formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.
Duke encouraged his listeners to "get off their duff," and go volunteer for Trump's campaign.
Duke has supported Trump for months, telling Politico in December that, "he's meant a lot for the human rights of European-Americans."

I am no fan of Trump, but I do believe nearly every election cycle, the liberal media attempts to get David Duke to provide an endorsement for the Republican candidate they most fear.
It is like Lucy’s Football, and the sun rising in the east.
You can bet the House that they will run to David Duke every four Years asking for his Opinion of the Republicans running for President.

It’s not Trump’s fault that Duke supports him. It’s not surprising, though, that Trump’s approach to the GOPe and values work for Duke.

The panic has set in. The GOPe is hysterical and in a panic mode. Someone must have paid David Duke to weigh in. Romney is making unfounded allegations about Trum[p’s tax returns. NR dedicated an entire issue to take Trump down The WP has written an editorial urging the GOP to stop Trump.
David Duke, KKK leader, is a known Trump supporter.
Why isn’t this getting any media attention. you know if he had endorsed Cruz or Rubio it would be all over the media.
(Of course, he couldn’t endorse Cruz or Rubio — they’re Lationos. Or Carson — he’s black.)

LOL. So the MSM dredges up David Duke for a quote. They probably could have gotten a much better one from a current Klan member — something that uses racial slurs and says that Donald Trump represents White Power.
This is why I wish there was a true conservative press in this country. They could dredge up some Communist zealot to say that Hillary Clinton represents true Communism.

[Note: I’ve posted a dozen or more pro-Trump comments in the last couple of days. Cruz still is my top choice, but Trump is receiving more staged attacks than Cruz these days.]
Only slightly worse. It’s difficult to compare one mental illness with another. It’s kinda graded on a curve. Beck is seriously delusional, though, and massively narcissistic.
Well, good for David, he has moved from fleecing his own supporters to taking money straight from the GOPe.
