You have your opinion I have mine, of course mine is right and your's is wrong, but you are entitled to it. Neither of our opinions have been tested in the Supreme Court si until then I will keep my version. You can keep the Bull Crap!
The bottom line.
Yes it does. You guys have framed this issue so that anything besides a cesarian birth makes a Natural Born Citizen.
Citizen does not equal Natural Born Citizen just because you claim it does.
I will change my mind if the Supreme Court makes a ruling on the issue, as long as it conforms to my opinion, not until. And you know what? My opinion just like yours means absolutely squat.
If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it."
Mark Twain -
So all those people born out of wedlock are NOT citizens?
How absurd!
Whether you or anyone else likes it or not with regard to your wished outcome, there are only two types of US citizen, Natural and Naturalized.
Congress and the Constitution requires the person not a Natural Citizen to personally REQUEST naturalization to be a citizen.
NBC was only required by the Founding Fathers. That is the only time within the Constitution or the Law that NBC is mentioned. Further the Founders (apparently intentionally) failed to specify how NBC was to be determined.
You nor anyone else can show, within the Law or the Constitution ANY defining of NBC.
I contend that the Founders inserted NBC solely due to the clear and present possibility that a British Loyalist or Citizen would be able to sabotage the early USA. That generation did not define NBC, because they knew exactly what it meant. Had they considered NBC of such importance in the future, they would have clearly defined NBC and not leave it to so much confusion and contention.
No.
My daughter was born abroad while I was in the Army. She has one of these:
Which makes her a NBC as well. Thanks!
