We have endured endless insults from the Cruz side, along with endless butthurt vanities like this one. Support your candidate. Vote for your candidate.
But when your candidate loses, don’t come here whining. And after this many months, if someone doesn’t understand that the rest of us are tired of being told that the “true conservative” is the way we must vote -again - or we aren’t “conservatives”, expect some return insults.
We know Trump is flawed. They ALL are. But we are willing to take that gamble after over three decades of being lied to by “conservatives” that have latched onto the Bush style of conservatism. Free trade, open borders, and big budgets.
I’m not from Cruz’s side, and I didn’t insult anybody. But the fact remains, Trump’s candidacy is one of anger, he makes a lot of bold statements, most of which are impractical in the long run, but they get people stirred up. As a political campaign it’s not bad, we’ve known for a long time that kind of talk can get lots of people nodding their heads for prolonged periods of time and highly profitable to sponsors. The big question is: just which of the many many versions of Trump will actually be president? And unfortunately anybody that thinks they know the answer is lying to themselves. This is a guy who has held every possible position, continues to flip around fast and often. I’ve got a bet that he’ll actually switch parties again within the next 4 years whether or not he wins. Because that’s his pattern.
But he speaks to your anger. So you’re voting for him. Good luck with that. He very well might win, but that doesn’t mean he’ll do a single damn thing about any of the issues that make you angry.
