I was for Cruz at first. Even donated to his campaign. But then Trump entered the fray and he brought up the issue about illegal immigration and focused on the a lot of the crime. I was so amazed an scared for him, because I thought his campaign would be over just as soon as it started. He survived the onslaught and then started listening to his speeches. He challenged issues. It was great. I learned quite a bit about other issues, like the trade imbalanced and Corp inversion. Then I decided to switch after the Senate voted on the Corker Bill and TPP, when Cruz was supporting these bills. I have not look back either.

When did rubio, or cruz for that matter, ever come out with a bold plan to do anything on their own? I don't recommend that you do any more thinking in public, you are clearly not very good at it.

I don't recommend you do any more insulting in public; I recommend you engage in thoughtful rejoinder.

I just pointed out that Trump is offering an unoriginal idea, from years ago, offered by moderates and approved by the NY Times -- hence clearly not something he "came out with on his own", clearly not "bold", and clearly not a "plan" worthy of support on FR. And this is your response?

Ok, I see it now. Trump has been following the trail blazed by cruz and rubio on immigration. If you can convene your self to believe that, I'm betting you can pretty much pleasure your self on demand. You must be a happy surf, ignorance is bliss be damned.

Yes. He would have said whatever he needed to to beat Bernie and Hillary. ...............Trump has straddled that line between Dem and Rep all his life. He’s a political schizo.

Touchback amnesty is something made up that people who know nothing of our immigration laws ...

Doesn’t that describe Trump?

Are you completely unaware that most Americans now recognize immigration as THE issue destroying this country?
**************************************************
FNC showed poll results from SC this evening that indicated the illegal immigration problem was 4th on the list of concerns, with only 10%. Jobs and the economy was #1.

>>>I never said that. I said I would write in Cruz<<<

So, if Cruz doesn't make it, and I'm saying as a Cruz (1), Trump (2) Supporter, you will not Support Trump as the Republican Nominee in the General Election against Bolshevik Bernie or Hell on Earth Hillary?

Will you do the same if Rubio gets the nod?

I can't stand Rubio, but if he's the guy I certainly wouldn't give away my Vote by Proxy to any DemoncRat by writing in anyone.

Whoever the Nominee is, and it looks to me like there are only three possibilities, any of them gets my Vote in the General, and I didn't even sign a Loyalty Oath given to me by Rinse Brebutts.

You aren't one of those “Romney would have been worse than Obama” FReepers are you? It would explain a lot if you were.

I hate to break this to you, but they are the same subject.

Thanks for playing.

Trump has married foreigners. I am sure he is familiar with the immigration process more than most people are, especially the ones who spout off about touchback amnesty.

Nope - I’m not one of those Romney would have been worse than Obama Freepers, but with him and McCain, I voted against my conscience just to “make sure Obama didn’t win” and Obama won anyway. What was the point? I didn’t want a president Romney. I preferred Santorum in the primary actually.

So my vote meant nothing in the end. If my vote is going to mean nothing, then at least I want to be able to say I believed in who I voted for.

I don’t believe one iota in Trump. Therefore, I will never vote for him. I’ve learned my lesson. If Trump is so great, go rally people who actually believe in that fraud instead of trying to guilt people like myself into voting for him. If you can’t rally enough people who actually believe in him to win the general election, then it was because he was a loser all along and we fragmented the party.

But I’m done supporting candidates I don’t believe in. In Trump’s case, it’s deeper than that. I despise him.
