You could change the breed of dog here to a dozen others and get the same result. This is entirely the result of human stupidity.

Being stupid often comes with a very high price. And it can be pretty sad.

Recently we had some young men in their 20s, nice fellows by all accounts. They wrecked their car doing 100+ on a two lane country road & all 3 died. Quite sad. The results would have been the same regardless of the make of auto they were driving.

I understand what you are saying, but it isn’t the best analogy. A dog has some independent thinking, a car doesn’t.

Those statements are true in a sense. There are likely a dozen dog breeds out there that have the heightened or hybrid killer instinct purposely bred into them and it is stupid to believe that this inbreeding disppaears by being nice to an animal. People subscribe to this none sense that nice extinguishes the killer genes and that is why some believe they can cuddle up to their pet lion or bear until the animal has a bad day. All animals have good days and bad days just like humans. You do not want to be on the receiving end of a killer animal on their bad day. I love animals, but I respect them for what they are. It is not their fault.

How totally disingenuous (BTW that means you're LYING deliberately). Cars have no individual will. Dogs have different personalities and temperments depending on the breed. Pit bulls account for:

Of the 88 fatal dog attacks recorded by DogsBite.org, pit bull type dogs were responsible for 59% (52). This is equivalent to a pit bull killing a U.S. citizen every 21 days during this 3-year period.

The data also shows that pit bulls commit the vast majority of off-property attacks that result in death. Only 18% (16) of the attacks occurred off owner property, yet pit bulls were responsible for 81% (13).

from www.dogsbite.org

However, I agree with you that human stupidity caused the attack. The woman was terminally stupid in having that many pit bulls in her house.

So you’re saying it’s just that pitbull owners are many, many times stupider than average dog owners? There’s nothing to their breeding in strength and kill drive?
