What is it about politicians and fibs that can easily be shown false?
On the campaign trail in 2008 Senator Barack Obama told black audiences stories about his parents' involvement in the civil rights protests of 1960s that were not even remotely true. Over the years, Hillary Clinton has made preposterous claims about everything from being named after the conqueror of Mt Everest to having been under sniper fire in Bosnia.
We all know Trump constantly proclaims he is the greatest at just about everything. Add eyesight to the list.
"Because I had a view - I have a window in my apartment that specifically was aimed at the World Trade Center, because of the beauty of the whole downtown Manhattan. And I watched as people jumped and I watched the second plane come in. ... I saw the second plane come in and I said, "Wow that's unbelievable".'
Trump's apartment, in the penthouse of iconic Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, is 4.1 miles away from where the twin towers once stood.
An object the size of a human body cannot be discerned by the human eye at that distance. Now maybe there is a telescope or pair of binoculars in Trump's penthouse. However, on that day Donald Trump was apparently not in the penthouse. At the time the Twin Towers were struck on the morning of September 11, 2001 Donald Trump was reported to be at a business meeting in downtown Chicago, Illinois, almost 800 miles from Manhattan.
On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Adrian D. Smith, a well-known architect in the Chicago office of Skidmore Owings & Merrill, was in a meeting with Donald Trump. The hyperbolic New York City developer was in Chicago to go over the design of a proposed Trump residential tower ...

Thanks for posting a NEW reason to hate Trump for us, conservativejoy! :)
Wouldn’t it be nice if they would do a debate where the only thing that is debated is the American Constitution?
And we didn't care about the other 200 articles that you posted about Trump...
The regular Constitution, or the Convenient Constitution? :)
His memory fails him when he’s under oath, just like Hillary, too.
Speaking of fibs,Ted wore “the only principled conservative in the race” like a priestly garment. It kind of stinks now with all the crap he got on it.
So ironic that the title of his book is “A Time For Truth”. Highly disappointed I bought it, and believed it. I wonder if he will give me a refund?
LOL! I’m stealing that one! :)
Is this why Trump supporters are called “Trumpkins”?
Over target! Plenty of flack from both sides of the isle!
Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease. The GOP has supported and endorsed this vile activity every single step of the way. Trump has tapped into the fury of the American people over the unrelenting anti-American NWO push of our paid employees in government. Trump could win this on this one issue alone. Americans are tired of being betrayed by their government on both sides of the aisle.
Go Trump!
Because We Don't Care!
You started disliking Cruz when Trump told you not to like him. Because you sense your own intellectual inferiority; thus you decided it’s best to be a follower.
That attitude worked for the Krupps and the Theissens in the Ruhr Valley and their stooge Von Papen. Labor management for the masses. Oh, and WWII as a “minor” outcome.
Would love to believe it’s not a small club we aren’t in— but.. it is. Beliefs are strange in the face of facts... like this post. If one doesn’t care about facts, and personality— anyone would do. And anyone has done— to great dismay and disappointment.
Conversely, I had applied Cruz’ dependable habit of ducking out on the smallest controversy as being Hillary-esque.
Consistently Cruz redirects in true Hillary fashion, with the “look over there” phrasing, or “I forgot”, or “my army of staff” did it, or didn’t do it, or “ I didn’t know “, or “I didn’t know for an hour and a half”.....
Amazing how pristine he deems himself, while TRUMP runs around the country saying, “GUILTY, as charged”.
Americans see the difference in these two men. One has it all, of money and power and fame, needs nothing. The other has groomed his life around his Hillar-esque ambition for the presidency.
He discovered the TEA PARTY in Texas, dumped his liberal-center views, saw the TP and rode that baby all the way to the Senate, where he performed magnificent tricks for the rubes to launch his immediate run for the highest office in the land.
Reportedly, even his acquaintances never knew him to be religiously observant. Cruz is the ultimate climber.
Hillary-esque and relentless for the White House, both of them. It is too much. It is disordered.
If true, then it stinks that he lied about it.
Look, just because your professional CruzPostBots post articles that YOU like doesn't mean the rest of us like the steady stream of sewage on the FR forum main page. :)
Nobody running for POTUS, on either side, deserves the job.
Lindsey Graham and Trump?
