Here’s the difference between me and the Pope: I believe the Bible to be completely true and he does not.
The Pope was wrong for attack Trump, but running his mouth might be the lesser of his sins since the Vatican announced last week that bishops don’t have to report the molestation and rape of children by priests to law enforcement.
“Hereâs the difference between me and the Pope: I believe the Bible to be completely true and he does not.”
You’re wrong. He believes it to be completely true. He just doesn’t believe it to all be literal. You don’t either. You believe there is use of metaphor and symbolic language in scripture.
“The Pope was wrong for attack Trump,”
He said a particular way of acting - which Trump did not in fact do - is not Christian. What kind of an attack on Trump is that? https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2016/02/19/what-the-pope-did-and-didnt-mean-when-he-said-trump-was-not-a-christian/
“but running his mouth might be the lesser of his sins since the Vatican announced last week that bishops donât have to report the molestation and rape of children by priests to law enforcement.”
And that too is false. “Papal commission: Bishops must report sex abuse charges” : http://www.cruxnow.com/church/2016/02/15/papal-commission-bishops-must-report-sex-abuse-charges/
The real difference here is not between the pope and Trump but between you and reality. Stop typing out crap you have no idea about and actually read some reputable sources instead. You would save yourself some embarrassment by doing that.
I’m not embarrassed one bit. I know what the Pope believes, like how slimy murdering Islamic beliefs are ok in his book, which is not the Bible. When supporting the butchers of Islam, Francis only Quotes the Roman Catholic sources because he sure never found that in the Bible.
He doesn’t believe the Bible. If he did he’d stop worshiping and bowing before statues of Mary.
If he believed the Bible he could know the status of his salvation and could proclaim it, but he can’t.
If he believed the Bible he would stop with the blasphemy that he has the ability to forgive sin, he most certainly does not.
If he believed the bible he’d turn every child molesting priest over to law enforcement but he will not.
He doesn’t believe the Bible.
The current pope is an embarrassment.
I'll take Franklin over Francis any day of the week!
“Iâm not embarrassed one bit. I know what the Pope believes, like how slimy murdering Islamic beliefs are ok in his book, which is not the Bible.”
Except beliefs don’t murder. People do. And we both know if I asked you to document even one of those “slimy murdering Islamic beliefs” that Pope Francis thinks “are ok in his book” you would fail miserably because it’s a lie. You know it. And I know it.
“When supporting the butchers of Islam, Francis only Quotes the Roman Catholic sources because he sure never found that in the Bible.”
Show me one quote where Pope Francis supports “butchers” of any religion. When you fail - and we both know you will - we’ll see the worth of your false claims.
“He doesnât believe the Bible. If he did heâd stop worshiping and bowing before statues of Mary.”
He doesn’t worship statues. And apparently you’ve never read in the bible about the making of the Cherubim on the Ark of the large Cherubim statues in the Temple? And according “to the Bible, the people of God bowed down before King David to show him honor (2 Sam. 24:20; 1 Chron. 29:20; 21:21). Obadiah in 1 Kings 18:7 fell prostrate before Elijah showing him reverence for being a prophet of God. In the Ten Commandments, we are told to honor our mother and father (Deut. 5:16). Even Jesus defended and obeyed this Commandment (Mark 7:9-13; Luke 2:51). At least for Mary, our honor to her is in imitation of Jesus, her Son (1 Cor. 11:1). The Church allows for the veneration of the saints and their images as long as it remains honor proper for men. It is good to honor the saints for their love and trust in God (Matt. 22:31-32; Heb. 11:1-12:1).” http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/resources/apologetics/catholic-doctrines-and-practices/graven-images-altering-the-commandments/
“If he believed the Bible he could know the status of his salvation and could proclaim it, but he canât.”
Sure he can and he does. He says - and this is just as St. Paul tells us that we are saved, are being saved and will be saved that we must not have an absolute assurance of being saved already (since that is a false teaching invented by Protestant heretics in the 16th century): http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/pope-conversion-is-for-believers-and-non-believers-alike-63817/
Even Protestants are divided on the issue of absolute assurance - as they should be since it is as false as any other peculiar Protestant teaching. Just read Dan Corner’s book and you’ll know different since you clearly don’t know scripture. http://www.amazon.com/Believers-Conditional-Security-Eternal-Refuted/dp/0963907689/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455979389&sr=8-1&keywords=dan+corner+eternal+security

“If he believed the Bible he would stop with the blasphemy that he has the ability to forgive sin, he most certainly does not.”
He does have the ability - given to him through Christ (John 20:19-23).
“If he believed the bible heâd turn every child molesting priest over to law enforcement but he will not.”
And as I already posted - and you have to ignore to maintain your ignorance - the Vatican said exactly that. Here, I’ll post it again and then you can ignore it showing us all how little you actually care about truth since that clearly is not your concern: http://www.cruxnow.com/church/2016/02/15/papal-commission-bishops-must-report-sex-abuse-charges/
“He doesnât believe the Bible.”
He does believe the Bible and unlike you he actually knows it.
The Bible does not teach the veneration or worship of Mary or a statue of Mary or various “saints.”
Yet the Pope worships idols made from hand in disobedience to the very Word of God.
Why? Because he doesn’t believe the Bible.
“The Bible does not teach the veneration or worship of Mary or a statue of Mary or various âsaints.â”
The Bible doesn’t teach that Matthew wrote a gospel, or that it is inspired, or that it is canonical. Yet we all believe it. The Bible doesn’t teach Protestantism. It doesn’t teach “faith alone” (in fact, it condemns it). The Bible doesn’t even teach “sola scriptura”.
“Yet the Pope worships idols made from hand in disobedience to the very Word of God.”
Except that he doesn’t. He doesn’t worship idols of any kind: http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/pope-cautions-against-idolatry-which-punctures-stifles-the-faith/ . He only worships God.
“Why? Because he doesnât believe the Bible.”
You keep making that false claim but not only is your claim untrue, but I think you know it is untrue. I keep posting points you can’t refute and evidence you can’t dispute. You just keep posting falsehoods you can’t prove and probably don’t even believe. Proverbs 14:5.
Tell it to God when you stand before the Throne of Judgement and let him know why you thought you were good enough to earn your own salvation with works and deny the blood of Jesus Christ.
“Tell it to God when you stand before the Throne of Judgement and let him know why you thought you were good enough to earn your own salvation with works and deny the blood of Jesus Christ.”
There you go again resorting to lying because that’s all you can do. As a Catholic Christian I do not believe anyone can “earn...salvation” (CCC 2007-9). That won’t stop you from lying about it, however, right? No, it won’t. And nothing I believe in in any way denies “the blood of Jesus Christ”. Rather it is all based upon it (CCC 601-2). That fact, however, won’t stop you from lying about it, right? No, it won’t.
If you are claiming your works save you, you reject Christ.
You can’t be your own savior. You are not the Sinless Son of God. Neither is the Pope.
If he believed the Bible he’d stop lauding Islam. If he believed the Bible he’d never pray to a statue again. If he believed the Bible he would stop pretending that he or any other man has the power to forgive sin.
But he does not.
You obviously don’t believe the Bible either as you refer me to the same book the Pope quotes from to “prove”
that he and the Muslims worship the same god.
