Why was my thread pulled for linking to images through HTML? I spent quite a bit of time putting it together and I haven't used html code in 8 years..and didn't have any back up copy making it unlikely I'll resubmit it.

The whole point of a candidacy, a campaign, an election or even a forum is to persuade people...is it not? I did a poll at one point in time, yes or no, regarding the nature of Islam in the context of a news story out of Pakistan regarding the horrific murder of a Christian couple. I was down 18% vs. 82% but through the comments I was able to push that poll 50% vs. 50% persuading people to change their choice. I don’t understand the pessimistic attitude on our side when it seems clear to me that, for example, that you can prosecute Obama and Democrats on an issue like energy regarding the billions wasted on subsidies for more expensive and unreliable “alternatives” that provide little of our energy needs and to the extent they’re used it is because the government mandates their use. The Democrats should be metaphorically and relentlessly crucified for their destruction of jobs, the harm they inflict on consumers and the economy at large, and they should be running from the topic. I see the issue of education as being wide open. The Democrats haven’t had a new idea on education in over 30 years proposing more federal spending and higher pay for ever worsening results. To answer your question, I like to engage people and I know a paper tiger when I see one :)
